I don't have a radio at my desk, so I leave itunes on shuffle.

Then I hit up the Chive, open up each thread in a new tab, begin perusing a week of funny pics and BLAMO a BLARING commercial pops up on one of the 15 tabs I have open, and I usually can't find which one.

I then spend the next 30 seconds furiously closing tabs like I just got caught looking at porn.

I dont mind them, I find them to be non agressive. I also think all of the i dont want my kids to see this is really I dont want to see it. In fact getting kids of all ages talking about sex and its consequences is probably a good thing.

Talking about sex is one thing (a good thing) but I'm not sure posters of bloody fetuses are the way to go about it.

The notifications are a great idea, but becuase of this I turned them off.

And they never get to the point fast enough so I never really know the news - my little pop up always showed something like this: "Team A annouces they have hired a new head coach R....."

Thanks for the update...

Glenmore landing parking lot. Jesus Christ, it's 12:30pm on a freakin' Friday afternoon. Everyone should be at work. Yet the entire parking lot is so full, people are parking on the grass. I know lots of old people live in that area, but my god every senior in town must be here. And it's like this everyday.

What a bizarre post. You must not have kids. My six and eight year old have no clue what sex even is, and the conversation certainly doesn't need to be sparked by these graphic signs and the idiots holding them.

Glenmore Landing is always a nightmare. Every time I go there regardless of time of day (except for the rare weeknight later on at night) it's packed and nobody knows how to park or drive with any basic courtesy.

I've said this before, old people should not be allowed outside between 11:30 - 1:30.

I believe we have barely scratched the surface of what it is capable of. A truly awakening crystal. Kind of cool that it's only in Canada and although ancient was only discovered a few years ago! Pretty cool!
Go blow it out your aura. Such bull.

There are a bunch of morons on twitter, and I'm sure other places as well, that are saying that August 2014 has 5 Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. That part is true, but they are saying this phenomenon only happens every 823 years. Have these people never looked at a calendar?

There are only seven different days a calendar can start on. Most years are 365 days and leap years are 366 days. This means there are only 14 different variations of our calendar. What are the odds that one of these isn't used for 822 straight years?

In order for a month to have 5 Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, it has to have 31 days and the 1st has to be a Friday. This happens at least once a year. The last time this "phenomenom" happened was March 2013. The next after August 2014 is May 2015. If they were trying to be technical and say they meant the 5 Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday happening was specific to August, look no further than August 2025.

It GMGs when someone tweets it and then others retweet it with something like. OMG Epic! So glad I'm alive for it.

I guess it leads me to my favourite quote by Abraham Lincoln, "You can't believe everything you read on the internet."
