Flick-on came from the defender.

			That is another wrong call.
Defender played the ball not Mexico, should not alter the offside ruling.

A touch from the defender doesn't change it. It's the wrong call, should have been a goal.

So that's two goals for Dos Santos that have been wrongly called offside. Brutal

First two games of the tournament already have their results potentially altered due to blatant bad calls.

Yes flickon came from the defender that negates offside.
Tough for linesman to tell whos head it is.

			Oh, in happier news:
My local grocery seems to have stocked up on World Cup -themed beers. It's not every day you get for example Brazilian lager in Finland. Right now I'm enjoying Sol in support of Mexico |

The thing is though, there was another Cameroonian defender who might have been keeping him onside anyways. You shouldn't be calling that unless you're sure.

Ya it's very tough, and also a bit of a unique play, since defending teams usually leave a player or two on the post to defend, making offside somewhat of a rarity on corners.

I love sporting events like these that have to be played in difficult weather. Just adds another element to the game.

The camerooon guy who was holding the post amazingly rushes forward to get ahead of Dos Santos when the flick happened.

We'll see it again at halftime.

I don't think there was enough there for it to be a penalty.
