Here was my bracket for our office pool.

I did pick some underdogs with Croatia and Belgium going on a bit of a run cause it's no fun to just pick with your head

Also, nothing can stop the Third Reich. Klose's age not withstanding

Spoiler!

hehe polak, i had to go look at the german anthem history for some reason to see what it means - not 'germany above everyone else' like i mistakenly thought.

David Luiz instead of Dante tells me they're going to attack like hell out of the gates.

That starting XI reads like:

Julio Cesar
Thiago Silva
Luis Gustavo
Marcelo - David Luiz - Dani Alves
Paulinho - Oscar - Hulk
Neymar - Fred

Basically.....Thiago Silva is going to be lonely and playing the back 4 all by himself.

germany above all - (according to wikipedia) its to do with unification of Germany from the 1800s, not a nationalistic cry lol!

I don't really care either way who wins this game, but I do love me some upsets, so I guess I'll cheer for Croatia.

I always hope that there will be less diving and embellishments than the last WC, but unfortunately I don't see that happening
