Minor things that somewhat grind my gears (and related to your post):
  • People who drive large-ass pick-up trucks downtown to work. Why is this necessary?
  • Taxi cab driving habits. Why are cabbies more confident in their driving than their skills suggest?
  • Ultrasound pics on Facebook. They're horribly awkward and uncomfortable.
  • The word 'LOL'. Terribly overused now.
  • Guys who don't realize how terrible they smell whilst at the gym.
  • High cost of gas... in Alberta.
  • Single-lane highways.
  • Mosquitoes on the golf course when tee-ing off.
  • The asshats that book all the good tee times on the Calgary golf courses by 6:01 AM, and then only use one.
  • Kids. Just rotten creatures, really.

Cheers!

People who pull on to the highway, like Deerfoot (which is usually clear of all traffic) and immediately change lanes all the way left into the fast lane then proceed to do 5 under the speed limit. Why didn't you just stay in the right lane.... or the middle lane?

People who (while in the fast lane) continue to wander out of the actual lane and into the center median/shoulder and kick rocks up at everyone behind them.

Sometimes this is the same person and I want to ram them off the road.

The clear sign of a struggler is when you get to a duel left turn lane and only the left lane is filled with cars because God Forbid you have to do one extra merge after you go around the corner. The worst being when that lane backs up into other traffic and the right left turn lane is still open.

I love these people. I get to go all the way to the front in the right turn lane and my car can easily overtake most people off the line. Thanks for saving 5 mins on my drive home strugglers!

Yeah but that's nixed by the 5 min they wasted trying to merge (aka yield) their way into a merge lane that is created specifically for that turn because they were to opetrified by all the passing cars that can't possibly end up in their lane.

You know what I do when someone wants to merge in front of me?

I let them in, because honestly, who cares about this petty ####?

When a little gas car is occupying the only diesel pump. There were 4 open gas pumps but he takes the only diesel one, goes into the store to pay for gas and takes his sweet time. I get even more irate about this when I'm hauling a trailer.

Trucks waiting behind my little car at gas stations. I get in and all I see in the rearview mirror is the front grill of that menacing truck and an irate driver behind the wheel. I get really scared that they might drive over me!

They should if you're tying up the only diesel line.

However unless you drive a diesel you never really pay attention to how many pumps have it or if you're blocking it. Probably doesn't even cross their mind that they might be blocking it.

That being said, people that don't use pay-at-the-pump, then leave their car when there's a line generally GMG.

Car problems RGMG. I think my key fob battery died about 3 weeks ago and I've been too lazy to replace it. I've been doing things the old school way and unlocking my door with the key. This afternoon my key would not unlock my door and my vehicle only has keyed access through the driver's door. My car left me stranded but there was a Car2Go a block away.

After the game tonight I'm taking my fob with a fresh battery and my second key to the car hoping that it will let me in. If it doesn't work hopefully AMA can break into my car. The really bad thing is that my golf clubs are trapped inside my car and I'm golfing tomorrow afternoon.

Getting a new battery would be easier and quicker than waiting for AMA, no?
