Fines accomplish absolutely nothing. The Heat won by two points, Wade's flop was worth two points. You think $5,000 isnt worth it? Sure is. NBA needs to start suspending players for that kind of conduct, but then guys like LeBron and Chris Paul and Wade would be getting suspended, and for the league that dies without stars, it's not cutting off its nose to spite its face.

When people talk about 80s and 90s basketball, yes it was tougher and more physical, mostly because the refs let the players decide the game way more back then. Now, there are refs you know by name because of their tendencies to favour teams or just be terrible refs. I chose to accept the NBA as being closer to the WWE than the NHL or NFL a few years ago and even though I watch less, I probably enjoy it a bit more not thinking of it as true, legit sports competition.

These guys would gladly pay $5K or even $50K to go to the line for 2 when needed. Yes, the league should start suspending people like Ginobli or Derek Fisher (too late now) for flopping. With so many cameras shooting nowadays, if players know that they'll be suspended, flopping will decrease substantially.

Having said that I think the Parker did embelish on Charlmers elbow in G2 to get Chalmers his flagrant foul.

But I don't agree that the Heat won only by 2 because the last Ginobli 3 pointer as time was expiring was garbage shot. If the Heat was only up by 3, the play will change and so will the outcome.

I'd say that Parker definitely got winded considering he missed 2 consecutive free throws after. In real time it looked like Chalmers threw a hard elbow.

While I think the Spurs cost themselves the game by having Duncan and Parker missing 4 consecutive free throws, regardless the fact that they lost by two and Wade shot 2 free throws off of a flop doesn't reflect to well on the NBA. Take the two FT out and you have a completely different game and a 3 wouldve tie the game.

My only concern is there is too much time left, but this is the greatest offensive run I've ever seen. Just unbelievable.

El Fuego! Or whatever it is. I was trying to be one of those annoying commentators who use that phrase all the time. Guess I failed miserably.

Already down to 14. Damn

I agree on Van Gundy. That foul on Green shouldn't been called. Chalmers didn't even get hit and he looks like he got shot.

Spurs are making so many bad decisions/shots in the last few minutes.

Man...a lot of whiners in this game. They complained about every call especially Lebron.

Kawhi Leonard is still pretty young. Amazing the Spurs got him for George Hill. I imagine the Pacers could use a Kawhi Leonard but not sure he comes along the same in Indiana as San Antonio

Did Chris Bosh even played? hehehe!! The only time I noticed him was when he hit a 3-pointer; other than that him and BronBron was not a factor. If it wasn't for Dwayne Wade, Miami wiuldn't even be in a game. I guess Danny Green and Leonard did a great job defending BronBron.

If the Heat lose this series. The 90's Bulls comparisons should really stop. This version of the Heat aren't even better than the early 2000's Lakers.

These Heat aren't at the same level of MJ"s Bulls. They are probably more like the 90s Rockets.

The '01 Lakers are really tough to beat because Prime Shaq is Prime Shaq. Miami would get crushed because they have no way of even slowing the Diesel down. Miami, interestingly enough, kind of reminds me of the Spurs in the early 2000's. Grind down defensive team that has the players to make the key baskets, but not a great offensive team because of the lack of depth. Spurs aren't letting them get into transition and the Heat's half court game is not good enough.

In an utterly shocking development, Heat MVP Joey Crawford has drawn in tonight.

Miami getting shellacked in the 1st half. Kinda surprising to see such a blowout early.
