IIRC from 2013, when games are announced, they get added to the list.

That was my question as well. I didn't see FIFA 15 on their site yet. So I suppose it's better to wait until next week to place any orders.

Another question about the deal, since these are pre-orders do you usually get them right on the official release date?

Also one other thing I'm hoping for is news for GTA5 single player DLC. That needs to happen very soon.

Yeah, last year they added all the new games the day after they were announced. I got Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 with the deal, and I know they were announced during Nintendo's event.

For me they shipped on the release day, so they arrived about 2-3 days after that. Some people got them on the day or the day after. Bit of a dice roll if I recall.

It is a bit hit or miss. I'd guess about 50% release day, 40% a day or two late. And the rare 10% where it is early.

They also have limited numbers of pre-orders so some games may "sell out" as well. Something to keep in mind if you are on the fence about it, just order it and you can return it after the fact if you want.

Even if they end up being late, you can always buy it in store on the day of, and return the shipped one when it arrives under the 'new' games' receipt.

Anyone else find it crazy that even with 30% off you still have games that come close to $50. This generation I'll probably play the waiting game and wait for games to drop to $20-$30 range. There's still enough in my backlog to keep me busy.

It's not like $70 is a new thing. It was $70 for ages.

It sucks, but I certainly don't find it all that crazy.

I don't know if it's because of the Steam sales or what, but people seem to be more cheap regarding new games now. I include myself in this as well, but I feel I should support the companies making good games. If everybody waited for the game to drop to $20 or $30 we probably see less quality games being produced.

no, $70 is new as of the last few months due to the dollar dropping.

last few years it was $60

before that it was $50

Red Dead 3, Fallout 4 and Mass Effect 4.

I can't help but get giddy knowing these three games are all but certain.

It was $70 years ago when the dollar was weak.

well then that must of been more than 6 years ago because ever since I got my xbox it went from 49.99 for a couple years, to 59.99 for a few years, and now 69.99

prices are just stupid....

There were some games at $49.99, but yes, for those of us who have been buying games for a decade+, $69.99 isn't new or all that crazy.

It's simply back to the unfortunate norm up here. Games have even been as high as $80.

Not really a big deal IMO. It's a little expensive, but it's definitely not crazy or stupid.

When you consider the prices of comparable media and the amount of hours you get out of a game, it's still a really reasonable price.

Mario RPG was $109.99 at Zellers back when it came out.

Yeah, people complaining about 59.99 and now 69.99 really must be rather young, or not have much of memory.

I remember the days of paying $100+ at Toys R Us for Genesis games like Contra and The Punisher as a kid.

If you compare the quality of the games vs. the price of the games today vs. then, we're clearly ahead.

Yup. 6 years isn't exactly a long time, you realize that right?
