I like Dustin Brown, and have for a while. He did have a down year this year, but is still leading his team to the Finals.

I am trying to figure out why KG trades Brown (who takes his team to the finals) for a UFA that isn't worth a grid deal.

I don't get it.

This deal surprised me when I looked at it. I didnt expect Brown to be moved, was even more surprised that Roy was the main piece heading back. I wish I would have asked about him.

I asked during the season and Brown was "untouchable". My own fault I didn't inquire about him in the offseason.

I don't think it's that bad. Certainly not a deal I'd consider but if you were high on gaunce and ekholm then perhaps I can see how you could get there.
