Phoenix continues to revamp roster; drops salary in Dubinsky

Phoenix could not afford to retain Brandon Dubinsky who would likely need around a 6 million dollar contract. That was just too much for a person we would place on the 3rd line.

As such, Phoenix GM Stepped up and ponied up for GM favorite Reilly Smith.
Reilly Smith is a player we specifically targetted as after watching him was thoroughly impressed.

Why Do it?: Reilly Smith has another season of a salary at 1.13 million. Should provide a good rating at a cheap salary.We gave up alot of value but felt it was worth it to get Reilly.

Dude didn't have one in the next couple drafts so I took the '16 one.

Tampa adds a good all-around player in Dubinsky and a capable goalie as hopefully at least one of my two geriatric ones retire over the summer

Hey, that 2016 draft is supposed to be super deep anyway! Not as deep as the 2021 one, but smart to stock up.

Good deal for both. Always been a fan of Dubinsky, but that's going to be great value on Smith.

And like I said, 2016 3rd round should be HUGE.
