Well we should get a pretty quick idea how this third set will go with Maria serving first. More messy serves and Genie has a chance. But Maria has been a mess and is still in this. Not good.

This is basically the first set against Li Na at the Aussie Open redux. Totally beating herself. Disappointing end, Maria was incredibly beatable today, should have beaten her easily. Tough.

When she gets that service fixed she will be able to pull off wins like this - although she still has a chance if she can break. Right now its really letting her down and putting a lot more pressure on the rest of her game.
Nonetheless, a great open tournament for both our top Canadians.
