I once saw a show where they were discussing the pros and cons and there was one thing that really stood out to me. What you are doing by circumsizing is exposing a gland. Are any other glands exposed on your body? There is a reason and he is not born that way for no reason.
It's almost the eqivalent of cutting off your eyelids. Eyelids provide protection and moisture. Foreskin does the same thing. But who would ever think of cutting their eyelids off?

Count me in the fore "skinning" group. My nephew got an infection under his toque when he was 8 or 9 and he had to have it lopped off. Watching the poor kid lay there suffering, waiting for his junk to heal, was unbearable. I would not roll the dice.
I also gotta comment on Reaper's comments about the 30% statistic. How the hell do they know? Who volunteered for the study that compared the two? Who got it on, then had their toque removed, healed, then compared notes? Frankly, there are too many variables to have that statistic hold any water. I don't buy it. Changing gears, can you imagine mudcrutch crunching the numbers on that statistical category?

But he would probably be right. I mean, who DOESN'T want to score more?

Um, correct me if I am wrong, but it isn't a "gland". It's called the glans penis, the end part.. A gland is a group of cells or organ that secrete or remove or change materials in the blood... same root word, but totally different.

I don't have a clue. All I know is if the plural needs to be used, you are in some serious trouble.

No, you are right. It's not a gland but they were just using it as a comparison. I thought after watching it the comparison to the eyelids was a better one, but it helped me make sense of it.

I had an uncle that had to have it done when he was 16. My mother said it was a life altering event for him.
Also without trying to sound like a pig.....
Do women like to peel their banana before they eat it or would they like it peeled?

Speaking from experience, when mines fully erect, the touque is pulled down and looks like a helmet top. My fiance has had no problems or issues with it. For me the extra skin just acts like a shield.
People asked....

You honestly think that there has never been someone that made a late decision on this?
What if you converted to Judaism late in life? I'm sure there are many people that have tried this out.

Someone asked a question. Not like I care what a bunch of strangers on the internet think. This is a semi serious discussion. All the 13 year olds can go read another thread.

My buddies 10 year old got an infection and had to get circumcised. I wouldn't wish that on anyone at that age. When my boy was done there was no problem. Yeah it probably hurt but I don't think he will remember having it done. I am sure my buddies boy WON'T forget he had it done

I think you may have just shared a bit more than was expected.
But the graphics posted were comedy gold.

It's been 17 days since this mid-20's male became an expert in this situation. That's right, Wookie switched teams!
I think at some point I'll have a better perspective then anyone participating in this thread becuase it doesn't sound like anyone here did it at an age past a few days. Except maybe Photon's experience as that sounds horrible.
