I am looking to move into Oranges from my Greens. There was nothing at 12:15. My seats are 205 Row 18, and she said there hasn't been anything below row 20 in Greens or Oranges for days.

Just be careful if something does come up. You are in the 2nd closest row of greens; so I don't think it would be worth 40% more to end up 2 rows closer.

This was my first event. Relocated from 223 row 24 to 223 row 16 just 5 mins ago. I love the section because of the easy access to the bar and bathrooms behind. Sure is nice not having to go to the main concourse. Also there's a direct exit up there for leaving after.
Anyways was really happy to move up 8 rows, same price point. Quite surprised.

There were two pairs of Oranges in Sec 205 Row 15 yesterday afternoon, but they are now gone.

I moved from 220 row 21 to 222 row 23 for that reason. I am pretty happy, I'll be buying all my non-heroin beers at that Alumni lounge next season.

Moved from 209 to 213. Had to move up 2 rows to get to 213. I was really hoping to move lower then row 19 where I was but I think the trade off to be in the attack zone and away from the corner is worth the move up 2 rows.
Tried calling back and he said there was nothing better available then where I'm at currently.
Well I guess I wait another year...

I deliberated over those seats all day. I had them on hold twice. I just couldn't give up my Green aisle seats in 205 row 18. Congrats.

I did the same thing. I thought about it for a while and called back at 515 and they were still available. Apparently the phone lines were open until 545, so I don't know if my Greens in 208 would have gone or not. Looks like someone coming off the Hot House list is going to get a sweet pair of first seats.

For any of you guys/girls who sit in PL 1, PL 9, PL 10 and PL 18 do any of you have problems with hearing people flushing toilets etc through out the game? If I were to move to those sections I just don't want to move there then find out that you will be bothered through out the game hearing the toilets flush and such. Thanks.
|
LOL! I almost peed my pants reading that. I have been in PL10 for 10 years and I have never heard a toilet flush. Even well before the game or after the game. In fact, I won't upgrade from PL10 because it is so close to the bathroom. I can send my 6 year old to the bathroom by himself during the game. I can get to the bathroom and back to my seat during a TV timeout. Makes the game experience much more pleasant for me.

Quick question. I'm one of the Hot House people who get to pick PL seats on wednesday. Can anyone tell me what side is blocked by the cameras? I remember sitting up there for a few games last season in the middle, and there were cameras blocking some of the action.

Hi, has anyone had experience with how its handled when you have established season tickets and then add a second hothouse pair? Once you get your offer and except how is the STH queued up for the following years relocation?

I used to have two pairs of seats in the same scenario.
Your seat relocation priority still goes by the date you were awarded that pair of tickets.
For example, I bought my first pair of season seats in 2006, but I also joined the Hot House for a second pair that same season. I was awarded my second pair in 2010. Each year the 2006 seat relocation was a day sooner than the 2010 seats.
Last season I decided to drop back down to one pair. I made sure I released the 2010 seats, to keep the higher priority of the 2006 seats.

Went from 215 row 20 to 215 row 17... This section is frustrating because you have people 5 seats beside you paying half the price but the convenience of coming in through Avison Young, taking a elevator to the lounge and going down to the seats is awesome. Never lineups for the bathrooms/beers, etc.
Serves me right for the minor movement as I didnt call in on my time and had to call today and they served me the best they could.

My seats are in 202 in the green; right beside the whites on the other side of the Dome from your seats. For years we had aisle seats, so just across the stairs people were paying double. That price bump also gets you away from the people taking the steps up to the 300s from blocking your view. At row 20 even if they stop people in time, you are still looking at a good 30-45 seconds for the stream of people to clear. Longer if they don't know where they are going, or stop to watch the play. My wife got mad at me when she first started coming with me; that I was being "rude" by telling people to keep moving if they stopped. By her 2nd game she was telling people to keep moving.
We had to move 6 seats in from the aisle to get a better view; so almost a whole section over. The lack of netting in your way is also a factor. A couple of years ago during a massive blowout we moved over to 201 for the 3rd period. Way different experience.

Ken, how is the view from your current seats? Do people walking up the stairs still get in your way or can you see past them now? I moved to section 216 and was worried about this as well.
