Yeah but they will have had a week off come game one which should be plenty of time for them to be fully rested.

I have to say Kings in 5 or 6, the Rags just dont have the horses and Richards and St. Louis are running on fumes while LA are just an oncoming juggernaut.
The LA Kings are a special treat in the playoffs, they are absolutely relentless, they are like wave after wave of patience and punishment. Relentless.
And with Home Ice Advantage? I dont think the Rags have enough tricks up their sleeves. Lundquist might steal them one or two, but with home ice none of the Rangers top players will ever get a favourable matchup and with best players vs best players you've got to tip the scales pretty heavily in favour of the Kings.
What we might see is reminiscent of 2003, a Kings win and Lundquist with the Conn Smythe. Really, King Henrik in Conn Smythe form is NYR's only hope.

Good point. Manhattanite banker types probably aren't known for blowing the roof off the place. Sad that they've priced the fun fans right out of the building.

As always, hoping for a game 7 OT. Next goal wins.

Is there any better way for a cup final to go?
Unless it's your favourite team of course.
Then a tidy little sweep does wonders.

Granted. But as noted, the Rangers have had more time off lately, and their travel schedules were shorter - though (ironically), LA's wasn't terrible until the third round. LA also played three better, tougher teams. The Rangers will be fresher, and that is one of their few advantages.

Can't believe we won the season series vs these two teams.

I will pick the Rangers in 6 and Vancouver can enjoy watching their coach win a cup somewhere else, while Rags fans can laugh at how the Tortarella thing went in Vancouver.

With the series starting Wednesday, though, I think LA has plenty of time to make up for the difference in rest.

Kings in 6. Lundqvist will help steal a couple but at the end of the day the Kings depth will be to much and they will beat down NY top 6 to take it.

I think Quick and Lundqvist are equal in the match up, but the Kings are just the better team outside of the goaltending.

Go Kings. The Rangers will be fresher for game 1 but LA will likely get off to a good start playing at home after an exciting game 7 win. After that there are are another 2 days off for LA and rest won't be an disadvantage anymore. The Rangers have also played a lot of games and the new divisional playoffs meant the Kings travel was not much worse than NY.

Think this is a closer series then many are making it out to be.
This Rangers team is better than the Devils team that the Kings had to beat two years ago, and even then that series went 6 games.
