I dunno, with the ongoing fight between Gloria Steinem and Neill Strauss in here, he might've been scared away.

There will always be more threads and more gals. Maybe some lads, too.

Most women seem to think that guys can read their minds fo stuff like this, or that were supposed to pick up on subtle signals like playing with hair or saying something a particular way. In my experience, most guys are pretty simple when it comes to this stuff. Tell us how you feel and we will react in a way we deem appropriate, but expecting us to somehow know the intricate workings of the mind of a woman without any actual interaction is just futile.

This also applies to the age old "you know what you did". No we don't. And whatever we said that made you really mad, we forgot about as soon as it left our mouths 2 weeks ago.
And some girls aren't that complicated either.... But then again, I've been accused of being like a guy when it comes to feelings/emotions. My biggest flaw is that I tend to overthink things too much but I am working on that one.

So on the inside I suspect you're really just a puppy dog who likes to be cuddled, pampered and taken care of. It's that bitch face exterior that scares alot of guys away and many would rightly or wrongly assume you would be a hard person to live with, so they move on to someone else.

Have you guys done this before? It can't be that common cause I take this train all the time and never see it. Also, I've never been approached on the street or in the +15s or really in public.
I did this....Many times ....
But was successful only 20% of time. Considering I am not born and raise in canada and have Avg looks its good.

Believe it or not, but you don't have to be a woman to be a feminist.

Like others have suggested there's nothing rapey about telling a girl with confidence that you want her number. That's how I met my current girlfriend of almost 2 years. After hanging out with her for 2 hours I said "hey I gotta go, but give me your number, I'd like to take you out sometime."
If you're confident: give her your number. If you're as stimulating as you believe you are, she will contact you.

"Boys being boys" is code for "we're being d-bags but we're men so we're clearly incapable of mastering our inner urges and being full grown adults!"

Until you've had someone much larger than you, who can easily physically overtake you if he chooses, approach you and demand your number, you really cannot begin to understand just how bothersome "sexually aggressive" can be.

Want an example of why "sexually aggressive" is so scary for women? Why women are so defensive of various aggressive cold approaches?

How about two examples from the last week alone:

http://www.indystar.com/story/news/c...nside/9661217/

Creepy guy hits on a bunch of teenagers, and then chases their car shooting at them when they reject his advances.

http://thinkprogress.org/justice/201...g-to-have-sex/

The very same day as the Isla Vista shootings, there was this shining example of Real Men, firing at women who refused to sleep with him and his buddies.

And for god's sake, before you pull the "all men aren't like that!" It doesn't matter. If you knew that 10% of a bowl of M&Ms were poisonous enough to kill you, you'd avoid the entire bowl. So can you really blame a woman for being wary of someone who aggressively approaches her?

Agreed. If there are two girls in a setting and one is smiling, looking like she's having a good time and the other one looks bitchy it's a no brainer where guys are going to gravitate to. I realize that for a lot of women that doesn't accurately portray their true personality but a lot of guys prefer the path of least resistance.

Actually I don't mind being the guy that posters use in hopes of accumulating thanks. I don't come here for validation as I know who I am and I'm comfortable with that.

Yes because life should be serious all day everyday.:roll eyes:

I'm just waiting for the day in a locker room where the boys are being boys that a guy like you pipes up and berates them all for being d-bags. Oh wait that never happens in real life only by internet keyboard warriors. Honestly guys I get that the internet is the great equalizer for some of you but it just doesn't represent real world face to face interaction.

You can have a lovely time and not be overly serious without objectifying and dehumanizing women.

Perhaps you should remember that CP isn't your locker room where you and your buddies slap each other's bums, but rather a place read by thousands of people, men and women, of all different sensibilities. Your locker room candour simply isn't appropriate.

Well yes it is because there's nothing I have said that isn't appropriate. I don't think you realize that you can't impose your will on me. One minute you are saying that people that watch self help videos on dating should just die and next minute you are telling me what isn't appropriate? Look in the mirror.

Where is your sense of adventure? Grow a pair and start up a coversation with the bitchy woman. Looks can be deceiving and there's a good chance you'll get her phone number. Women like guys that are confident in themselves and are willing to take risks and don't fear rejection.
