How are those from the respective players final games at the Saddledome? The Flames (and every other NHL team) wear their dark jersey at home.

Copied off facebook or something and that's just the location tag I would assume.

Anyone have any idea/inside knowledge on who the player appearance will be yet? Bit of a shame we haven't been told as I was planning on getting a canvas or 8x10 done up of the player to sign.

Jamie Macoun and Tim Hunter are signing autographs at 9-10 on Saturday per Flames Facebook account.

Why the Flames couldn't book Perry Berezan to sign autographs?

Couple of questions for those that have attended prior years:
Do you need to line up early to get anything good?
Do they allow someone to buy multiple sticks/equipment? (presumably for resale. I hope not, I'd like to pick up a stick for myself but am afraid they will be sold out quickly)
Do they let you try on skates? (They must, right?)
Thanks in advance.

I've never been but I assume you need to show up quite early before all the good stuff is picked over and you are left with Keetly sticks.
You probably can buy as much as you want, its not like they'll tell you to stop spending!

I figured as much, but I was hoping that if it is more of a fan event, they might limit the purchases so those with other commitments might have a chance at something.

Yes...anything goalie or new goes fairly fast. May be able to get sticks later as there is lots.
Yes, buy as much as you want I believe.
Yes, but heads up about half of the skates wont have or come with insoles as the players have their own custom ones they take with them.

I've been but it really is a disappointment in the end unless you are willing to line up and are the first 20 in the line. People line up friday night, sleep, then get all the good stuff.
You can try on the skates before you buy but they have no insoles.
Don't waste your time unless you are willing to give up a good night's sleep.

I called Rob Kerr out on twitter
He brought donuts and had a chat
Great guy... Even talked him into giving us a random Boomer Sooner on the radio during college football season.

Why not ? Fun experience... A couple serious collectors and me. I don't really need anything but I like the experience.

I've never stayed overnight, but I've made the early morning trip from Lethbridge a few times. It's a lot of fun!

Anyone interested in non-game used gear they've got 35% off all fanattic merchandise including jersey lettering. Anyone looking to get a name on a jersey it's only $60 today which is a wicked deal.
Also, retro jerseys on for $65.
