Tokarski was doing an excellent job of doing just that. He was there for the team when the offence dried up. Not sure if Price would have made any difference.
You just lost the game 1-0 and are saying a different goaltender would have made a difference. That's a bit silly to say.
In the series?
You may not be aware that teams tend to play a bit different in front of goaltenders they have supreme confidence in.
Would it have made a difference? Who knows.
To say it would have made no difference is foolish

We're talking about teams trying to reach the stanley cup finals. They got a stellar performance from a back up goaltender, and didn't rise to the occasion. Make all the excuses you want, they were given all the opportunities in the world to move on and failed. Simple.
The Habs fans, who can be annoying, were nothing in comparison to the habs fans haters that are mind-numbingly irritating. We get it, you hate Montreal and their fans, can you shut up about it because it got stale after the thousandth time.
At a certain point a healthy rivalry gets crossed and it turns into vitriolic hatred that just ruined the whole thing. Every time I wanted to come here and talk about the games it was impossible because some habs hater would be fellating himself watching Montreal lose.

The way Tokarski was playing Habs players looked to have confidence in him. Price can't score and a lack of offence and not goaltending was what failed the Habs and their fans.
Subban was try but got no support.
Hab fans should be ticked at Vanek for not showing up.
