Subban skated miles but their offense let them down badly. Vanek better have a bad injury, he's been beyond horrible.

Great run.
Price wouldn't have made a difference.

Pretty sad that this was the best the East had to offer. Prepare the brooms for CHI or LA. (hopefully LA)

At the end of the day for the Habs this is very similar to a few years back when Halak stood on his head. You can only go so far in the NHL playoffs riding a hot goaltender and getting outplayed more than not on most nights. They just don't have the game breakers outside of Subban to outlast teams for four series.

Lundqvist can steal a game or two, but it's the other teams' round to lose.

Holy crap I hate the ####ing Rangers. I hate their players, their stupid cigar sucking GM, their ugly ass jerseys, everything. I can't wait to watch LA or Chicago to just dominate them. Can easily see a 4-0 sweep for the west.

The West team will most likely win the cup but I wouldn't bet on a sweep with Lundqvist in net.

Tokarski was magnificent! He gave the Habs a chance in every game and you can't ask for much more.

Habs went further than I ever expected and gave thier fans something to cheer about.

As a Swede and hockey-lover, this saddens me a bit:

With the Canadiens elimination, the Stanley Cup will stay in the States once more. No Canadian team has won the cup since Montreal in 1993.

Damn yanks.

5 shots for the Habs in the third. The Rangers did a magnificent job of shutting them down.

Saddens me as a Canadian. The Stanley Cup is the property of the Canadian Government. At the same time I only ever want the Flames to raise the cup.

Yeah but look at the state of the Canadian teams. None of them deserve to be in the finals and it's been a good decade since they could use the small market excuses. Canadian teams simply haven't been run all that well and until one of the Canadian teams gets their act together the cup will continue to be handed out to the better run US teams.
