				 Alaska Kelly Cup Finals Thread

			I figure the finals deserve their own thread.
 Aces host the Cincinnati Cyclones in a minor leaguesque 3 - 3 - 1 series.

			The team looks pretty focused on getting that Kelly Cup. http://www.adn.com/2014/05/27/348930...p=/99/474/475/

 They did not scream or crank up the volume on the stereo.

 They clapped, politely, almost perfunctorily, for a few seconds.

 “We see something bigger down the road,’’ said defenseman Corey Syvret.

			Flames prospects stats in the playoffs with the Aces:
 Ramage -> 15 games, 4 goals, 9 assists, 13 points, +10
 Elson -> 15 games, 4 goals, 3 assists, 7 points, +7
 Martin -> 11 games, 0 goals, 0 assist, 0 points, +3
 Roy -> 7 games, 6-1, 2.01 GAA, 0.906 save %

 Martin is an RFA, and likely won't be qualified but Elson and Ramage each have another year left on their ELC's.

 I also don't see Roy being qualified next season either.

 Nice to see Ramage putting up the points like he is, and by all accounts really playing well. Hopefully he takes a step forward next season and has that kind of success at the AHL level.

 Also, Kane Lafranchise played a lot for the Heat this past season, and he is doing well also, with 10 point in 9 games these playoffs. Wouldn't be surprised to see the potential late bloomer with the baby Flames again next season.

			The Alaska PA announcer is a morning show radio host. Today they attempted to secure a food bet from a Cincinnati radio morning show. The one station they got through to literally said "we don't care". I feel bad for the Cyclones fans. I mean I hope their team is demolished but I also feel bad for their media coverage.

			Elson had decent numbers in Abby as a depth guy. He's doing well in Alaska.Ramage needs a really good camp to avoid being lost in the shuffle.

			So apparently this is the ECHL matchup of the Flames vs Panthers/Predators.
And there is another Heat connection:

			I'm not sure if this is normal tradition or not but there was something on Twitter about a fish head being tossed near the Cyclones goalie after the first goal.
