I think it would be cool if the Flames opened up the Saddledome so us season ticket holders could watch the game on the big screens, like they did in 2004 for the NHL Finals playoffs.
1:04:45 absolutely makes my day. I hate goalies, in every sport. Stay in your f'ing crease if you dont want to get hit and the second you start slashing / crosschecking you're fair game.

No kidding, eh? If your going to get pissy after getting creamed, stay in the wide swath of floor that is your crease.
Any word on if Geoff Snider is gonna make it back for the last game? Sure do notice his absence when it comes to possession after a faceoff.

Reduced rosters is an issue here - if they had an extra body I think they would be more likely to give it a go - if you try and play him and he starts to have an issue - then you really tax the rest of your team.
But if it is physically possible at all I imagine he'll go. The dude is one of the toughest guys I've ever met.

In the United States, the matchup will air live on ESPN3, including the WatchESPN app, along with Altitude (DIRECTV channel 681 and Dish Network channel 410) and ROOT Sports Pittsburgh (DIRECTV channel 659 and Dish Network channel 428).
In Canada, Game Two will be joined in progress live on TSN2 following the Major League Soccer game featuring the New England Revolution at Montreal Impact, which begins at 7 p.m. ET. Fans in Canada can watch Game Two live in its entirety via TSN GO and on YouTube via The Lacrosse Network (YouTube.com/TLN), which will also stream the game live in all other regions outside the U.S.

It is too bad that TSN and the MLS couldn't just move the start time to 6:00 ET, which would have the game fully over by 8:00 ET for the lacrosse to start. Moving start times to accommodate TV is common in other countries. TSN probably would have had better viewership for MLS and the entire NLL match than they will get from SportsCentre repeats, MLS, and a partial NLL game, as it is scheduled now.
I'm sure that it isn't as easy as simply not broadcasting the MLS game, as there are probably agreements and contracts in place between the league and TSN.
TSN Go is useless if you don't have Bell or Rogers for TV (most Calgarians). At least it will be available on YouTube, which is better than not at all. Sucks if you want to PVR it though...
The good news about the game being joined after soccer is that it can't go to overtime, unlike when the flames game followed that raptors game that went to 3 OTs and we missed the whole first period.
Before the Roughnecks/Rush game in Edmonton the PBP guy made an interesting comment.
Say one team is leading by about 4 goals with 30 seconds left in game two. That same team lost the first game and the mini game is looking like it will obviously be played.
However, that same team takes a penalty which would carry over into the mini game according to the rules. Should that team score in their own net to nullify the powerplay going into the mini game? Remember so far goals have been quite precious in the mini games (both 2-1 scores).
It's too late to change the rules this year but if that scenario did happen it would look pretty bad for the game. If they want to treat it like a true game 3, it has to be fresh start with no penalties carrying over.

I can't blame TSN too much for this, as the NBA playoffs and the MLS game were both previously scheduled, and contractual obligations. The NLL is a minor league compared to both, and it is a bonus that they picked the finals up at all. Certainly argues the benefit of TSN3 TSN4 and TSN5 though.
