Let me give you some tips, from my life long success plan.
Chicken on the way - Get the hungry Man Dinner with 6 extra corn fritters. Sure you can't eat them all at once, but the last 4 taste really good cold. If you go for the family deal, you can have left overs. The fries themselves are awesome to make home made poutine with. Just dump the left over gravy and half a cup of cheese and nuke it for 2 mins.
Wendy's - Sure they say chicken is better for you, but when you cover it in batter and deep fry it, it really isnt. Go for the Chicken Asiago Ranch - Crispy. It has bacon as well, plus a sauce that you could drink by the cupful and still be wanting more. Make sure you upsize. Add a root beer for extra tasty goodness.
McDonalds - Tastes like crap compared to Wendys, but there is something to be said about a Double Quarter Pounder with bacon. Make sure you supersize as well, because with larger fries it means about an extra half cup of salt, I am sure that helps with something. If you are feeling extra peckish, grab a couple extra cheeseburgers or a chicken snack wrap. For a bonus, during the summer, any drink is only $1, so you can get a Root Beer 2 or 3 times a day and not even dent your change cup in the car. You could also go with Coke, but it is less pure sugar than the Root Beer.
Starbucks - Sure paying $5 for a fancy cup of coffee might seem like a stupid idea, but I am guessing there is enough sugar in there to put you into a coma if you had more than 1. During the summer, go with the Frapaccinos, get the Double Chocolately Chip for pure flavor. Obviously large with whip cream, but me saying it at this point is pretty redundant.
Fruit - You might think that this is odd on this list, but it has a ton of fiber. If you are chowing down at McDonalds as much as possible, you want to be sure you are regular. Don't have too much though, because there isn't a lot of calories there, and you don't want to fill up too quickly. If you haven't had a chance to have your fruit for the day, I have found that a large Frosty after your Wendy's upsized combo can be enough to send your intenstines into full evacuate mode, your mileage may vary of course.
If you need any more tips, let me know.

If you're willing to diet, and workout, supplementing may be an option.
I to was always underweight for my size, well into my 20's. I tried everything, from whey powder and protein shakes, to excessive exercise and dieting, nothing worked.
Until I found Creatine Monohydrate. I was able to put on 40lbs in just under 6 months. Initially it was mostly water weight, but with regular exercise and a decent diet, once I stopped the loading cycles, I only lost 10lbs, so a net gain of 30lbs in just a few months. This got me to where I feel comfortable, and more physically fit. My exercise and diet have basically stopped for the last few months, and there hasn't been any weight loss, which was an issue in the past. If I wasn't constantly working on maintaining weight, I would lose it quickly.
Might be worth a look, but do your research.

Watched any Oakland Athletics games? One of their players has that as his walk up song for at-bats. Heard it last night and it's still in my head today.

I was fine when you said the song title. I was fine when everyone started talking about it.
The second I read sexy saxaphone, all I have is that sensual saxaphone bridge in my head. A pox on you and your house.

Does anyone else not give a crap that Maya Angelou died? I mean I of course feel bad for her family and it's sad someone died of course, but, she isn't a national treasure and her poetry sucks. This isn't the passing of Nelson Mandela ffs.

I had to read one of her books in high school.
I thought that the book was horrible, and that her writing was terrible.
I still don't see why "everyone" thinks that she is some great writer/poet/speaker/whatever. I guess, at some point, one's reputation becomes their reality, and no one is willing to acknowledge that the emperor doesn't have any clothes.

1) Solid reaction. Good work CP.
2) I am polish, but I'm 24, don't group me in with the late 20's yet!!
3) I do count calories, my biggest problem with that is that every time I get close to a decent calorie surplus, I get sick. I tried spacing my meals out and eating less, more often to help with this but it just seems to reduce my appetite.
4) That post was more geared toward complaining about all the conflicting advice in these workout routines and diet plans as opposed to complaining about my body type... this time.
Now, back to your regularly scheduled whining....

I checked CBC and the Calgary Herald; just the regular amount of coverage concerning an author/artists death. No more than any other celebrity.

Not absurd at all. I'm friends with dozens of Polish guys in Calgary and they are all huge. I can count on one hand the number of polish males I have met who I would call skinny.

All the Polish people I met were either drunks or persons of questionable income.
So in summary:
Polish people are big, drunk, criminals.

I just thought it was hilarious that you could tell him without a doubt that he will grow. Based on the few dozen polish people you know, without ever seeing him or having any clue what his family genetics are like. I get your point but it still made me laugh.
