Wooooo! Awesome. Go Marty. He obviously made the right choice by leaving Tampa at this point in his career.

This is one of those series where "the lesser of two evils" just doesn't exist.

St.Louis would have had nightmares had they lost the game so it's fitting he finishes it.

I know the goals weren't that similar but that reminded me of his goal in overtime game 6 of the 04 finals

Marty redeemed himself after missing two shots in the same place last time. However, a little further out this time, and he knew what he had to do to get it in.

			lol Rene Bourque?
A mediocre floater who we shipped off for a good return? Why would someone even care enough about Bourque to let that stack up with those other things?

Both of these teams are bad and are going to get swept by whichever Western Conference team wins.

I honestly no longer have any issue with St. Louis wanting out of Tampa Bay to go to New York. Sure he could have handled it better, but he's wanted to play for the Rangers for years now, and asked for a trade multiple times. Yzerman managed to get a great return for him, so it's not like Tampa made out that badly themselves.

Then of course he made the right choice, considering New York is one game away from the finals, while the Lightning were the only team who didn't win a game in the playoffs. The guy only has a couple years left, and wants to win the cup again, so I can't hold a grudge against him.

Of course if you're still holding 2004 against Richards and St. Louis then I completely understand. Hard to get over that.

The attitude of Habs fans pretty much outweighs it all for me. They haven't done crap for 2 decades and yet they still act like they are perennial champions...can you imagine how bad they would be if the actually won the damn thing?
Add in the diving, the Ole Ole's, pretty boy Bergevin, the fact that they are a Canadian team, and we'd have to watch endless CBC montages and stories from oldtimers...ugh, no thanks.

I'm not a Rangers fan either, but in this series, you can bet your balls there is a lesser evil.

The "ole" chant is the worst. They always start it way too early. I love when it comes back to bite them in the ass.
