Chicago was the better team until about the 6:00 mark in the second.
Then LA just took over.

With how dominant LA has been in the late stages of the past two games, I have to think that Chicago is concerned.
Gaborik was quiet in Game 3, but I have been impressed by him all post-season. He is possibly the best TD UFA pickup of the past decade—these trades seldom work out, but he has given the Kings a whole new dimension, and has looked really good in the process. Will LA be able to keep him? Would they want to?

I think they'd definitely want to. He has fit in really well there. According to capgeek they are in ok shape for next season, but heading into the 15-16 season they have a lot of free agents, RFAs and UFAs. I'm guessing they'd love to sign him to a 1 year deal, not sure Gaborik would go for that though, he might want to cash in on a longer deal after a solid playoff performance.

Maybe it will depend on if he wins the cup or not? If he wins the cup, maybe he'd be willing to take the money for another team. Tough to say though, he has really been an asset to the Kings.

It's still hard to believe that the next game of this series is going to be the final national NHL broadcast on TSN for at least 12 years.
Even if I wasn't interested in this series, I think I'd have to watch on Monday night just for that.

any official word on Regehr?
Any further unofficial rumour on Regehr's injury also appreciated.

Skated with team but still not ready. It is a knee injury.

The Hawks need to find a way to get their offence going or it's going to be over in 5 games. The Kings have done a great job of not allowing players like Kane to build up speed in the neutral and free wheel with the puck.

This makes me sad for some reason. It really is too bad it isn't TSN purchasing all the rights and shutting out Sportsnet. It'll be really sad once there's no more CNIC on CBC.

Muzzin with another snipe makes it 1-0! Great screen in front too.

Gaborik makes it 2-0!
Hawks have looked completely overwhelmed for the past 5 periods and it may have cost them the series.

I love the L.A Kings in the playoffs. Easily my favorite playoff team of the last few years.
