Gotta laugh at people who think it isn't fair that Spencer gave a speech for Tony. Jury members have always been allowed to ask questions and/or to simply make a statement if they wish. Plenty of jurors were able to trash Tony, I'm glad to see that at least one jury member was able to get past the bitter tears and tell the truth. There wasn't a single person on that jury who wouldn't have backstabbed someone else to get ahead so they are all hypocrites.

The right person won.

Edit: Should add that hidden idols are stupid but that "special" idol was an abomination to the spirit of the game and should never be seen again.

Kass might've swayed a jury member or two, but I still think Woo would've won it by a landslide.

The biggest difference between Tony and Kass is two things:

1) he made moves strategic moves and didnt make it personal. Kass got sucked into the cat fights and made it personal with others.

2) Spencer would never have made the same speech for Kass. Although he's aligned with her with a tribal or two near the end, it's only for his own survival that he's doing it.

People were throwing Tony under the bus for all of his promises, not for breaking them but how he made them by swearing on his families lives. Didn't Hatch do the exact same thing in season 1?

Why are people still surprised/disgusted by this?

Because, still, after 28 seasons, there are players who don't get that it's a game and nothing you do in it matters outside of the game?

If they wanted to make the idols matter more, then they should put an expiry date on them or other conditions.

This idol must be played no later than the final 10.
This idol must be given to another player, or you have to do the next challenge with a 30 second penalty.
This idol gives you an extra vote at tribal
