This should be the year that CP invades Penticton.

Still have the Development Camp in July, which tends to have a greater depth of prospects due to the College kids being able to attend.

I'm very surprised that Gaudreau wasn't named to the top 3 American players in the tournament. The coaches obviously thought of him as a key guy since he was out there in key moments.

Really hope Johnny gets a strength coach and nutritionist over the summer, it'll will help him immensely for training camp.

Any beaches or wineries there?
Both events should be good.

Well considering we've just committed millions of dollars into him, I would count on him being BFF's with Rich Hesketh all summer

No! Instead, make a trail of Skittles leading him into the weight room then lock the door.

I wonder how much weight we can realistically put on.
I'm taller and 3 years older than JG but roughly the same weight and I can't gain weight for the life of me. When I see people on here expecting him to just throw on 20 lbs like it's no big deal I worry that they underestimate how hard it is for some people to gain weight. Obviously I've never had a focused, intense work out regimen specifically tailored to me by some of the best trainers in the world, but I still think there is only so much that can do. Yeah he will get stronger but by how much?
If he has the same body type/metabolism/whatever as me then I worry how much he would have to force himself to eat to offset the calories that he would burn on a daily basis as a world class athlete and then gain weight on top of it. You can always eat less, but you can't really eat more than your body lets you...

Isn't Gaudreau 160 right now? He doesn't need to get significantly bigger. I think 10 more pounds would suffice. 5'9, 170 would probably be the max for him.

Yeah and that's if he's actually 5'9. Isn't Cammy listed as 5'9? I stood beside him and I was quite a bit taller than him and I got my height measured at a physical recently and I was 5'10... These height stats always seem off.
If he was 5'7 or 5'8 and 170 thats actually decently stocky.

I would like to see him at about 180 over time (2 - 3 years) like St. Louis who didn't go really bulky up top but has big, strong legs.

(According to nhl.com) - A couple of short players I looked up:
Paul Byron - 5'7, 153 lbs
Brian Gionta - 5'7, 176 lbs
Martin St. Louis - 5'8, 180 lbs
Brad Marchand - 5'9, 183 lbs
They have Johnny at 5'9, 150 lbs, but I think you are right that he may be shorter. I also think he got slightly bigger. So we can safely say 5'8, 155-160?
He doesn't really need to add that much weight at all, maybe just needs to hit 165?
