I'd stick him with Jones and Backlund. Jones is a bigger body with a good shot. And Backlund would be able to keep up with Johnny's skill level, and could probably cover up his defensive deficiencies at tyhe start of the year.

All you need is Big Ern shouting/staring down from the bench.
"You see this kid, he's my little brother. Do you want to find out what happens if you mess with my little brother? I don't think that you do."
Love Big Ern, I really thinks he gives everyone some ease.

If J Roc's on the team next year Big Ern will be one of our most valuable players.
He'll be like Semenko.

You guys are hilarious.
Enforcers do absolutely nothing to prevent players from being injured.

Really? How many of our guys got ran this year with McGrattan in the line up? I'm sure that was just a coincidence.

I don't think they necessarily prevent injuries. I'm saying that Brian McGrattan is a heck of a good guy and seems to instill more confidence in the team as whole as far as standing up to other teams.
But if you don't think that if someone doesn't s*** their pants at the thought of having to deal with Brian McGrattan, well I think you're wrong.

Ya when Big Ern turns that crazy intense "someone gon' die" stare in your direction, your soul actually shrivels up and attempts to escape from your body.

Yeah look at that guy. You just don't mess with that.
My bigger point is Big Ern seems like the guy that goes up to Johnny before the game and says "Hey don't worry kid, anybody sniffs at you, they'll wish they just let you dance around 'em." I imagine it gives them all a pretty good boost knowing he has their back.

You're probably wrong, Mcgrattan would patrol around the center before games and talk to the other team saying things like take a run at our young guys and you're dead. Nobody would even look him in the eye on the other teams while he was doing this, if you think that had no effect compare how often our goalie got ran in the most recent season compared to 2 years ago.

The guy's nickname is Johnny Hockey for #### sakes.
