Hahah heard about it from a buddy who was hooking up with some random chick and apparently there was a stampede to the stage.
Man what an awesome weekend. Sets that stood out for me was:
Flosstradamus. Oh man what a rowdy party. It was so cool seeing sooooo many people spilling out of both sides of the tent just rocking it to 420 day. The cops were on a platform in the middle filming everyone and even though I didn't toke, Im pretty sure I got baked from all the 2nd hand smoke. What an awesome awesome set.
Adventure club. I had no idea they were Canadian and they played a very emotionally charged set with some incredible visuals.
Nicole Moudaber. Inside the Yuma tent was a real cracker den but it was A/C and hardwood floor with some pretty trippy visuals. I love techno and she didn't disappoint. Went inside for the closing set on Sunday and it was jam packed. Awesome tent that was built like a nighclub and totally reminded me of the Warehouse days when it was open here.
Gareth Emery. I've been a fan of his long before he rocked festivals like this and it was nice to see him play once again. That remix of Tiesto's traffic was by far the most epic song I heard all weekend.
Queens of the Stoneage. Awesome set and the lead singer was so cool. He got the camera man to zoom in on a guy who was doing sign language and the crowd just went nuts. So cool to see stuff like that at Coachella. Even those that were hearing impaired were able to enjoy it.
Also can't forget about the Glitch Mob. Wow,best visuals of the festival. Totally blew me away with their visuals and style.
I think the tent beside Sahara was Mojave? Whatever it was called, every time I walked by to take a leak I had to stop in there and listen to whomever was playing. So many good tunes in that tent as well.
So many more too. Best part though was just how damn friendly everyone was. I didn't see a single issue with violence or fights or anything. You could just make random conversation with literally anybody and you would immediately hit it off. I liked this festival way better then Ultra and would go back in a heartbeat.
