Big win last night, was not expecting that.
In regards to McGowan, I guess I hate THE FEELING I get when he is pitching. He doesn't instill any confidence in me when he's on the mound. Like he knows he's going to give up a ton of runs that game, he just doesn't know how many. And, as has come out, you can just tell he knows that his fastball and changeup just aren't good enough. It's like watching a car crash in slow motion. That's why I am relieved he's in the bullpen now.

Looking at the stats, JPA is doing about as well (when he plays, splitting time with a career minor leaguers since the Rangers full time catcher is hurt) as he did last year.
Also likley he's preparing daily material to throw teammates under the bus when he gets DFA'ed later this year.

We should all be jealous of JP.
He's on the downward trajectory of his short career, yet he JUST married a Grammy award winning country superstar.
Dude will likely never have to work a day in his life.
No wonder he doesn't care about striking out all the time. He's hitting it out of the park in the bedroom and in his bank account. Boom!

Why does Zaun insist you can bunt .300.
If it was possible it would have been done. There have been many fast runners. Teams would adjust easily. Bunting only works as a surprise tactic.

Wow, they actually got more than one game over .500.
Is the ceiling going to finally break?

At this point last year, the BlueJays were 18-and-26. With this win, they move to 23-and-21.

So, just got back from my first Jays game ever. It was excellent, topped off by a nice win. It was back and forth a little bit and definitely nerve wracking. Buerhle was his usual awesome self though.
I'll say the ballpark experience is much different than watching a game, we were sitting lower box (about 30 rows up from the Jays dugout). The ballpark in Arlington is a really nice place. Saw more roaming food vendors combined than all 30 games I attended at the dome, amenities are extremely nice and well done.

Three great pitching performances in a row from Happ, Hutchison and Buehrle. Bullpen has certainly been able to rest lately. The Jays could possibly be in the division lead by the end of the day. Here's hoping for the sweep!

Bad inning. Juan Francisco error, Dickey and his propensity to give up homer runs, and now Jose Reyes with a brain fart.

It was amazing! It was helped by the fact it was Ortiz running home but still keeping that ball in the infield was pure skill.
