If he gets drafted by the Oilers, hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

Johnny getting ice time up by one with the German goalie pulled.
You have to think Johnny will be USA player of the game.

Gaudreau has more points in this tourney than Jagr, Ovechkin and Nyquist.
Not bad.

I want to see the netcam shot of Gaudreau's goal. It looks like he shot it right off the camera's lens.

There definitely wasn't any gimme points at all. I can't wait to see him full time on the Flames.

Not surprisingly, Gaudreau was named Team USA's player of the game.

wow, so kid's first tournament of games against grown men, and every game he's worthy of a highlight reel GIF?
so excited to watch him develop and become an intrical part of the flames franchise. All the hype seems warranted.

Those kind of moves at full speed in traffic is unreal.
I want to keep telling myself to temper expectations.
I can't

if he can consistently pull off those kind of moves in a full NHL season and have a competent level of defensive awareness (nothing to indicate he won't), he will be a franchise player

So #91 in the NHL would have forgot about his PK duties and hammered Johnny in the teeth?
Geez, this size thing is getting old, if that was a 6'0 tall player it would be just a fantastic play with no issues. Fact is though, not many other players of any size can make that play period. Johnny does it all the time.

Yeah... the gif makes it look like its coming on a rush where he might get hammered but given Abdelkader is sitting in front of the net it was a power play and they were established in the offensive zone... everyone is standing still so no one is a position to hit him.
