Could be the Beltline too...I swear the building across from us had a firetruck visit every two days. You get used to it though, it just kind of fades into the background.

Either way, Fire/EMS still beats the hell out of a particular brand of idiots on motorbikes cruising down your block at 2am.

Stripper glitter. Easy way for wives who frown upon strips clubs and lap dances to bust their husbands.

Carrying boxes to the basement, missing the last step, rolling your ankle, dropping the boxes and slamming onto the concrete floor.

Good God, I bought some other brand q-tips the other day and that damn things break. Break! Right in half! What the hell!?!? How do you break a cotton swab? Piece of crap.

Never again. Only brand name q-tips from now on. It's this nightmare that made me realize the Q in Q-tip means "Quality"

Nothing too serious, just bad timing.

Get that ankle checked to make sure nothing is broken or sprained.

Speaking of the left lane gear grinder that doesn't get enough attention on CP.

I noticed today that they put up a "slower traffic keep right" sign on a two lane road; Westbound Glenmore as you go over stony trail....and the speed limit is only 70 there.

F-in awesome! Hopefully these start becoming more common in our city to shut up those "wahhh, slower traffic keep right signs are only on highways in the country, not the city. You guys are wrong if you think slower traffic should keep right in the city limits. I'm perfectly fine driving in the left lane and holding up the guy behind me" ######s.

Don't get your hopes up. Those dicks will still maintain that it's not illegal to drive 69 in the left lane, but driving 71 is.

"Slower traffic keep right" is universal. It applies at all times in all instances. On roads, on sidewalks, on escalators, on moving walkways. It doesn't matter if you're driving, walking, riding your bike...just move the eff over and stay there until you need to pass.

I realize that, but I was referring to the many times opposers have brought up that slower traffic keep doesn't apply in city limits and that's why you don't see signs.

Then they let up a little bit when people proved that deerfoot has them in the city. They changed it to, "okay, fine, maybe on certain stretches of deerfoot, but that's it!".

Hey, I'm on your side. I'm just saying there shouldn't even have to be a sign.

Universal? I hardly think so.

That's why I always wait until I'm passed the "no murder" sign before gutting my hitchhiker.

I hung pegboard six years ago for tools and stuff, and bought an assortment of hooks which are designed for holes that are 1/8" in diameter, whereas the holes are 1/4" in diameter. They're loose and continuously fall out, but I've made due.

But in going to replace the hooks with the proper size ones, all I can find are the smaller diameter hooks! I've looked everywhere, they're all "made for both 1.8" and 1/4" holes" which is BS, because they don't fit the 1/4" holes.

Would probably just be easier to replace the pegboard with the stuff with 1/8" holes, but nooo, nobody sells that!
