Ekman-Larrson too Swede for Dallas. Stars Russian to bring in more Finnish!

In a deal that came together really quick, thanks to a very good starting offer from Mitch, the Dallas Star gave sent stud rearguard Oliver Ekamn-Larrson to the Canucks in exchange for Slava Voyonov and prospect Rasmus Ristolainen.

Putting OEL on the block was a hard decision to make but clearly our mix needed to change. Really happy to bring Ristolainen back into the fold, I see him as a future all-star. Voyonov will fill a hole in the top 4 and has upside still.

Steep price to pay, but OEL is already one of the best defenders in the league and we feel like he is still going to improve.

With our newest addition our top 4 consists of OEL, J. Johnson, M. Carle, and M. Staal. At this point we are very confident on d and our main focus will be to improve the teams forwards during the off-season.

Thanks to Turd for the deal. We've completed a few very big trades in only a few PMs, always easy to find something we can agree on.
