Sounds like they will be in the Western Conference based on the comment that Adirondack fans would see teams they don't usually see next season, while I believe Allentown will remain in the Eastern Conference.
That might change in 2015-2016 though

I am glad they called it Adirondack Flames and not Adirondack something else. I was actually wondering why they called the Abbotsford Heat then I realized they did so they don't alienate Canucks fans in Abby. I thought the uni looks slick with the original Atlanta Flames A on Calgary red color.

The ease of change from 'Abby' to 'Addy' was perfect for Flames fans.

Every time I hear Adirondack out loud I can't help but think of it as "admiral on deck!"

Kind of cool seeing their pricing and benefits. It looks like all season ticket holders get to attend all first round playoff games for free. That's a nice little bonus.

I don't even know who to direct this to. But it would be cool if Calgarypuck could somehow be mentioned to fans there as the place to go online to discuss the Calgary and Adirondack Flames.
It would be cool if they had it on the jumbotron during a game or something in front of 4500 fans and then all of sudden a hundred or so fans signed up in the coming days and gave us a really nice farm team fanbase to get updates and info from.

The jersey should be retro jersey with the Flaming A logo and Flaming C shoulder patches. Keep it simple. And for god sake no more flags, especially since it would have to be an American Flag.

I'll go pitch the idea to abatista, our only current Adirondack poster.

I mentioned us on the Adirondack Flames facebook group. I'll try to remember to do it again once the AHL season starts.
I think we should try to sell the Back Burner as a place for the Glens Falls fans to talk Adirondack Flames as much as we can. Would be great for flow of information both ways.

Probably a good idea to change the sub forum name to show adirondack instead of abbotsford.

If only there was some sort of website where you could search for places to go online to discuss the Calgary and Adirondack Flames

Yeah, I was referring to fans that wouldn't have thought to look in the first place, ass. Tyler, I'd hate you if I didn't post so much like you, myself.

Hahah great quote. I'd assume that any pro organization would want to funnel fans to their site and not to unofficial fansite's where they have no control over content or moderation. The diaspora is usually pretty organic nowadays.

If you try looking for Adirondack Flames forum on google, Calgarypuck is behind places like hockeyfights.com at the moment.
Besides, most NHL team forums have very little discussion about their affiliates, at least the ones I've glanced at. Plus, our web site says that it's for fans of the Calgary Flames and called Calgarypuck. Taking those things into consideration, I would imagine that most people from around Glens Falls would not expect this site to be what they are looking for, if they're looking for a site to talk about the Adirondack Flames.
Besides, some advertising never hurts.

Not that anyone cares, but I figured out what was it that bothers me about the Adirondack logo that's on the site. The double striping around the "A" with both gold and white is too busy with that logo.
Going with the same idea of using Flames colors with the Atlanta logo (meaning = using black in addition to gold, white and red), here's how I'd do it.
There, got that off my chest

the reason it's busy looking though is because it matches the outlines on the logo and number on the Calgary jersey, when it is a full sized crest on the front of a jersey it won't look too busy.
Also having the space inside different than the jersey colour looks hideous.
