The USA-Finland game seems so much faster than the Canada-Sweden one.

Rinne stops Gaudreau on a 2 on 1. Beautiful toe drag by Gaudreau

Gaudreau with a nice drag move on a 2-on-1 but Rinne makes the save

What a move. That toe drag would make an Oilers forward jealous.

Not only was it a great move, he showed excellent speed. The icing on the cake is he got back on his horse to deflect the shot from the Finnish player.

Its great to see Backlund continuing his success this season in this tournament and to top it off being one of the leaders for his team.

Every year, it amazes me that the referees in the Worlds actually get paid to perform this poorly. How you can ignore Erixon tackling MacKinnon in the crease and then call MacKinnon for slightly nudging a guy is mind-boggling.

By the way, anyone else feeling good about watching Erixon play like dog####? I am.

Johnson is going to be the next Martin St Louis. Honestly hard to see how they're different on ice
