Are there any members of this forum who can read Chinese?

I bought this old signboard in Malaysia years ago but never knew what it said - just thought it looked cool. Would love to know what it actually says. Anyone able to read it? Please let me know. Thanks!

My wife's brother saw a t-shirt for sale in Japan that said "white devil" in Japanese writing, so you never know I guess.

Chinese ideograms are all originally derived from pictures that directly relate to the words depicted, so even though I don't understand Chinese, I think we can logically deduce the meaning.
Ok, the first character is pretty clearly a pirate hat with bones on the top being worn by a lizard in a laundry basket. Next, we have what is obviously a man with no legs attempting a "crane-style" martial arts pose. Lastly, we have a basketball hoop seen in a park on a cloudy day. Put that all together, and you have "Snaky Bluebeard's Martial Arts & Sports Park".

 You're welcome.

I think the middle character looks like the typical Japaneses upskirt view of a reclining woman, while the character on the left is the tentacle monster. The character on the right is the stoic 60 year old man perusing the hentai selection with a boner.

Don't really recognize the strokes to put into a e-dict or to find by radical but it's just a family or place name probably given that it's a 3 character sign (goes above a door typically).

Outstanding. Thanks. Alleviates the concern that it was a sign for the local rub n tug or some such ...

The first word means forever, second word mean prosperity, third word is the type of business, it's to pawn shop in today's society. So all together, meaning this shop will have prosper forever. Us Chinese are very, very superstitious.
Oh, forgot to mention it reads right to left. so 恒 == forever 昌 == prosperity 當 == pawn shop

As far as I can tell, it doesn't really mean anything bad, but it doesn't really mean anything at all either. I can't really tell because I can't properly read it. Chinese store signs are always pretty literal or use gold or mythical beasts as a metaphorical term, so it won't ever really be anything snazzy or witty. Your sign reads something like "Hung's Pawnshop" or something along those lines (If midniteowl is indeed correct).
