Too bad game one is 36 hours from now, and in Chicago. That puts the Kings at a huge disadvantage. It would do them wonders to get that first win, after going down in 5 last year. But they're going to be in tough right off the bat next round.

Too bad we couldn't have Kings vs Hawks final. The only way Montreal/Rangers have a chance is if those two teams beat the crap out of each other over 7 games.

Columbus made a huge mistake in giving Gaborik away for practically free. They could have used him against Pittsburgh.

Adding Gaborik was a very savvy move by Lombardi at the deadline. Small acquisition cost, big implications rounding out the top six.
