And this is partly why I think Americans are disgusting for wearing their shoes inside houses. Just gross.

People who stamp out cigarettes on the ground (and leave the butt behind) should have their hands cut off. I don't throw my f'ing coffee cup, Big Mac wrapper or used gum on the ground, so why the fata do you think you're so special.
And no, the filters are not biodegradable.

I don't know if my tastes have changed, or their recipes have - I just can't enjoy Kraft Dinner or Annie's or Hamburger Helper anymore. It tastes like crap. Maybe you'll counter that they always have, but I am certain something in the last year or two has changed. Something just really off about the flavours. And the noodles are such a strange translucent pale yellowish. More unnatural looking than usual. What the heck is going on with food?? Even chocolate bars - Kit Kats, Smarties, O'Henry - it's more like eating Chapstick than chocolate.

If you're feeling gutsy just pipe up with a quick "did you drop something?" while gesturing towards the butt.

Elbow southbound after work is my own personal hell.
But then I think wait, I could be on that CTrain instead.
And then I think here I am, either way, doomed to 40 years, 5 days a week of either Elbow southbound inching towards red light clusterf's or standing next to a couple of smelly teenagers making out bumping me in the side listening to horrific musical BS or tweeting and texting and being jackasses.
Fata. Is this purgatory?

I don't know what Annies is, but yeah I will counter with Hamburger Helper has always been garbage.
I haven't noticed any difference in KD over the years though.

That's a little too passive for my tastes. If you're going to be a dick about it, might as well be fully erect. A simple "pick up your cigarette butt, ass hole" works better.

I was thinking about something along these lines the other day. Is it worth having a "refined palate" if it comes at the cost of enjoying the meh food and drink of daily life that everyone else loves? Like you can't enjoy a glass of Yellow Tail, Folgers, Budweiser, etc because it's not as good as what you are now used to? Is ignorance bliss?

Number 3 bus. I get on in the belt line area, 1/2 the time there's seats available at my stop, or they become available shortly after crossing 17th ave. Then it's headphones on and letting the bus driver deal with traffic.

I'd say it's true. The big one for me was Honeycomb when I was a kid. I use to love that cereal, as it was huge fluffy, soft pieces that had a perfect amount of honey taste.
Then while I was still a kid, they all of a sudden became ****. They changed the recipe so that the big fluffy pieces were replaced with smaller, harder pieces with less honey taste. It just randomly became a crappy cereal with one recipe change.

Being stuck in traffic in your vehicle is better than taking public transit in all it's hell, ten times out of ten. I can't believe people do that every day, that's my version of hell.

I would much rather be stuck in traffic on a bus than in my car.
I watch 2 episodes of TV shows on my tablet on transit on a normal day. If weather is bad and it takes even twice as long to get home, I just laugh and start another episode.
Of course, I get on early at both ends and pretty much get my pick of seats 90% of the time. Wouldn't be so fun if I was standing bouncing around between little Billy with his backpack on and a guy who smells like he hasn't showered in 3 months.

If everything tastes off then tell your doctor. This can be indicative of a larger problem.

Actually there is very little wrong with that, people are just afraid of chemical names.

That I can't assist the townspeople in the mafia game in any way
I think I have it all figured out and it's so frustrating watching them trip over themselves.
