The Habs get home advantage in the next round right? The Rangers are a higher seed but the Habs had more points.

Only redeeming quality.

There are literally no skaters on the Rangers that I look forward to watching.

Well, I won't be watching any eastern teams until the finals. And depending on who's in that maybe only a couple of games of that series. Both finalists lucked out big time, MTL ruined Iggy's chance and St. Louis is a disgrace of a teammate and captain. Very little to like on either side.

Probably would say I'm cheering for LA at this point now. The western representative in the finals will automatically get my support though.

People think Montreal won due to luck but I think it was much different, Boston seemed to play only to a fraction of their potential due to most likely significant injuries. It seemed as though most of their top 9 forwards had some sort of injury (besides Iginla, just goes to show how much his regime, diet and yoga helps) and most importantly Chara seemed to have a broken right ankle. A prime Boston probably would have beat Montreal in 5.

And if Chara has such a terrible injury, what in the hell is he doing on the ice?

That is bad coaching.

that is true, he was on the ice for a lot of the goals against, had a negative +/- and seemed to be a liability.

Montreal scored when they had to and Price kept them in the series when the Bruins were all over them.

And people can natter on all they want about Subban but he is a heck of a hockey player...the type of hockey player that makes any team a lot better.

I would also like to give a thumbs up to Nufy...who knows enough not to gloat now.

btw, anyone feeling bad for Boston, go over to their fan forums and see how they've totally turned on Iggy. You'll be cured right up.

Kinda strange since he was arguably their best player tonight. Sad.

I was reading yesterday. Terrible.
Iginla was by far the best of the big guns up front. He led them, and wasn't supposed to have to.
Blame can not go to him
Boston is no good

As someone with really nothing invested in this, I thought it was the most interesting and entertaining series I have watched in a while. It's a good rivalry and I thought Montreal played the underdog roll perfectly.

Both teams are irritating and it was fun to watch.
