Pretty disappointing result. Was hoping this was going to be Iggy's year.
All the empty seats in that building at the end was pretty embarrassing.

That sucks for Iggy, he picked the wrong team again. I wonder if he will sign another one year deal in Boston or try somewhere else.

Congrats to the posts, the crossbar, the officials and the Habs.

I think they are good for one game. It will be like when the Senators played the Ducks where there will be one mercy game for the Easter Conference team.

Feel bad for Iggy. You could tell by his play he wanted to win game 7.

Bruins were too big and truculent and couldn't stop the small skilled Canadians.

Definitely disappointed for Jarome. Was really pulling for the Bruins for #12 and #12 alone.
Have to give it up to the Canadiens. Came into a series that a lot of people thought they had no business being in, took one of the best teams in the league to 7 games, and topped them. Congratulations, you can't deny they earned it.
I'm pretty impartial from this point forward, but given the effort and underdog status Montreal is carrying I might look at them a little closer the rest of the way.

Not sure they can really afford him given that they've got a big $4M cap penalty for next year from how they structured his contract to fit him in this year.

Montreal has a better chance. West teams may struggle going into that mad building.
Plus only the Flames win the cup in Montreal!

Well hopefully he goes to a team that I won't feel dirty cheering for next year. The last two years have been pretty tough to swallow.

Iginla should stay in Boston... playing in the East with less travel is the way to go as an older player.

I'm not a fan of either team, but both fan bases are really obnoxious. Cheap shot apologists.

But man oh man, this series Chara looked bad, Marchand was taking bad penalties and not scoring, just a combination of a lot of Bruins not getting the job when it mattered.
The Habs played well enough to win the series and that's all that matters. Helps when you have the better goalie, too.

Who also was not Nominated for the Vezina. Which was a crime IMO. I hope they win the cup if only for Price to hoist that and the Conn Smythe.
