Playing with fire all 3rd... Would have been a couple powerplays for both teams in the regular season. Weird the refs finally snapped though.

It blows me away that no matter how much game a matters, no matter how close it is, there's always at least a hundred people in any hockey arena that will leave with five or six minutes left. Just blows me away.
You can already see a couple dozen empty seats and every whistle you see a few people get up and head for the exits.

Dubious call...smashing Gionata into the boards was much more of a penalty in a Game 7 than that.

Are you guys for real? Even if he hadn't of cross checked his face, it would have been interference. You can't hold him up when the puck has passed you by.

That was a cross check.
There was some embellishment there. I wouldn't be opposed to giving a diving call as well.
It was a penalty though.
