Can't stand so many quotations either. But if I was a Habs fan, I couldn't stand anything either.

Are you seriously saying that all of the vocal Habs fans are with them year round? I'm not buying that, personally.
I've been "on the bandwagon" since birth. there was no Edmonton or Calgary when I was a kid. There was Montreal and Toronto. My Dad cheered for the Canadiens, so did I. I've been rabid about them for my 4+ decades. They've won a whopping 2 Cups in 35 years and I'm still cheering for them. They hired a beer salesman and a colour commentator to run the team, they went on to trade the best goalie in the world for a bag of used jockstraps. I'm still cheering for them. Nothing short of Quebec separating will change this.

I just want the Bruins to win and Iggy to get his cup so I can finally move onto cheering for a team that I think deserves to win. Iggy being on the Bruins is really clouding my judgement for who I want to win the cup. This will probably be his best chance. Honestly I don't give a crap about the Bruins. They have already won it. Normally I wouldn't care who wins this series and would just enjoy watching intense hockey. But Iggy clouds my judgement and I find myself rooting for a team that normally I wouldn't care about.

I hope Iggy wins it so I can finally go back to watching the playoffs how it was meant to be watched: from a fans perspective who wants to see chippy, intense playoff hockey. As long as Iggy is cupless, I will always find myself gravitating to his team and losing sight of why I watch playoff hockey in the first place.

Point needs to be reiterated: You cannot criticize "bandwagon fans" if you have just recently jumped on the Bruins bandwagon, the epitome of hypocrisy.

How would that change it? I would assume they'd keep the team.

Why exactly does this need to be reiterated?

Craig Custance ‏@CraigCustance
According to NHL, this will be Claude Julien's 10th Game 7, tied with Mike Keenan for most all-time.

The Montreal Canadiens have sold out their home arena for Game 7 against the Bruins. Game 7 is being played in Boston. This is Canada.

^^ Even more amazingly, this is the 7th straight year Boston will play in a Game 7. Their fans must go through Tums like mad.

I have no problem with any of Nufy's posts. He has been polite and basically just being a Habs fan, doing a bit of trash talk. I don't see him being a troll at all.

If you can't handle a bit of trash talk during NHL playoffs, then turn off your computer.

Screw Montreal!

All I heard about this morning on the radio is how the Bruins started getting dirty and trying to run the Habs smaller players at the end of the game. The truth is, the smaller players were going after Chara's ankles by chopping and slewing their stick at his feet with his back turned.

There is certainly some bias going on within Canadians and Habs fans.

I hope the Bruins break every Habs fans heart tonight.

My old man is a habs fan, and watching the '93 cup win with him is still one of my favourite memories. They've always held a special place in my heart as a result.

Go Habs Go.

I originally picked the Bruins in 7 but I am flip flopping to the Habs. I don't think they are the better team but they have the factor of good fortune on their side all playoffs and that's hard to beat in a one game elimination.

So many things ride on tonights game.

#1 - The state of my liver.
#2 - Finding that excuse to leave work early to get home for the game (Stupid PST)
#3 - The deal I made with my wife was the kid (2 yo) wasnt getting his haircut until the seasons over. I like his hockey hair and it needs to grow longer.
#4 - Want to continue wearing my Bruins jersey to work
#5 - Want to give the cocky Canadian/Canucks fans in the office a hard time when Boston wins.

Should be an exciting game. Will have the Bud Light cranked and beer queued up. This is what the playoffs are about. Game 7. Original 6 teams. Rabid Fans. It doesnt get much more exciting than this.

Go Bruins Go!
