The Wild remind me of the Flames with thier never quit attitude and great work ethics.

I dunno, as a fan of hockey and in terms of style of play, I'd say the Hawks and Ducks are the most entertaining teams left with the Hawks in 1st. Since the NHL is a copycat league, them winning is good for the league as a whole.

Especially when fate hands one of them a gift. It's a bit of a shame that luck was the driving factor behind the goal more than anything else. For how well both goalies played, the one who had to lose deserved a better death, so to speak.

(Great shot though.)

Meh, still don't like him and his usual one man celebrations. Still got a ways to go in my books.

Minny was the better team through 60 minutes and probably deserved a better fate.

Great game by Crawford and does anyone in the league have better hands the Patrick Kane?

Kane=Toews>Crosby

I realize it's not that simple of course, but if they get another cup I'd elevate both above Crosby. I actually felt bad for Crosby for the first time ever today too. But, I believe a few players have probably surpassed him in the last few years.

Johnny Gaudreau circa 2017

What is it with Kane scoring goals that only he knows is in? Didn't he score the cup winner in similiar fashion?

Is this really a rhetorical question?

It's not for everyone, but personally I love the occasional "dynasty". It elevates the teams that are truly great from the one-off teams that have won it over the last decade. Especially in the cap era where it's that much more difficult to keep champion-level teams together (as the Blackhawks found out in 2010).

Except being a team who buys players spending through the roof for them. Welcome next Bon Bon Vanek.

Becoming a store bought team. Better to watch though, I'll give you that. Doesn't take much to upgrade from the suffocation of the Lemaire days, especially when the purse strings are loosed a bit.

Crosby hasn't looked like the same player since coming back from his two concussions. He's still got all world skill, and up until the past three games he was scoring at a point a game clip, but he doesn't seem to have the same drive and intensity as he did earlier in his career.

I would have the Ducks and Bruins ahead of the Hawks in terms of entertainment. The only one that actually showed up for the whole game was Crawford. But of course Kane had to score in OT to make it another Cali-Chicago west final. Anything other than that would be a nightmare for the NHL.

I bet Bettman and the NHL sponsors are creaming their pants at the potential final four that's about to happen.

Not completely sure what would be better for the league though, Montreal or Boston winning. I would have said Boston at one point, but with Montreal's rabid fanbase that might have changed.

I'm happy to watch Chicago win, their style is much more towards skill than grinding it out and it's great to see a few players with elite skill show it's still possible to play that way and be able to do so without the prevalence of cheap shots and dirty tactics other teams practice.

The Bruins aren't a more entertaining team than the Hawks. They have less skilled players and the Hawks defense is more mobile and activates more.

Montreal for sure, and it's not even close.

As much as I love Iginla and want to see him win the cup there is nothing I want to see more in 2014 than a Montreal-Anaheim final. I couldn't watch another Chicago-Boston final.

They aren't better players then Crosby and Malkin individually but the supporting cast is so much better.

Kane and Toews are still on great contracts through next season.

Hossa's cheater contract is a huge advantage as well.

Those three guys are only paid a million more then the big Pittsburgh two.

There are just a lot of bargain contracts on those Hawks.
