I'm sorry that the word 'gooning' just totally messed that up for you. Perhaps you'd prefer 'weak bull####' instead?
Looked like typical after the whistle hockey business although the Chara glove to the face warranted a roughing penalty for sure no argument there although the whole reason it was started was because of a d-bag trip by Markov. If he doesn't pull that off none of that happens. Time to look in the mirror.

Chara after the whistle is typical stuff, still ridiculous considering the sizes ... but whatever. The other two, naw. If this was any two other teams and that happened, pretty much everyone would think that was bush league.

I want Iginla to win too, but I can still see that was lame.

Tonight's game had some pretty entertaining stretches.

I thought the Bruins were going to score for sure when Subban got caught playing forward for an extremely long shift.

That might have been a TSN turning point.

So non-tough guys are fine to run around and trip big guys from behind the play and then hide after? Okay.

Who cares? It's nothing out of keeping with an intense hockey game. It certainly isn't anything to get all hot and bothered about.

I loved it and was so hoping Markov would have the stones to drop the gloves so Iginla could have pounded him in the ice but I imagine Markov would rather wait until Iginla's back was turned to the play like he did with Chara.

It was during the play and it happens all the time.

Get over it.

He could of already been in the cup final had he not flip flopped his position at the last minute.
I agree with your first point. Some fans are showing blind devotion to the Bruins that should only be reserved for the Flames. The constant hyperbolic complaints of bad officiating, diving, getting lucky, not deserving to win, etc. are usually only things you hear from hardcore fans of a team. I will complain about all of the above when it goes against the Flames but not for any other teams. I still cheer for other teams in the playoffs but don't get upset if they lose.

Don't agree with your second point though. Iggy did not screw with the Flames, he had a NMC and could do whatever he wanted. All the blame in that situation rests on Flames management.

Does anyone really notice Iginlas not wearing a flames jersey anymore? Its OK to criticize him now that the rose colored glasses are off. Lucic going after him is understandable, Iginla is overkill.

I think the argument over who's being a big mean bully in a hockey game has run its course.

Mabey screw over was too strong off a word. It could be a mid communication. GMs usually don't think the have deal unless it's 90% a sure thing. I think Iggy changed his mind last second. Either that or his Wife made him lol.

None of those guys have to "act" tough.

The Bruins have a massive physical advantage in this series and they need to use it, and that includes trying to intimidate the other team by pushing them around.

This isn't directed at anyone in particular... but I swear, some people get more bent out of shape than the people actually playing the game.

Nobody got hurt, they won 4-0, the Bruins tried to intimidate them, and it didn't work. They are happy. The aren't crying in the dressing room about how that mean Jarome pushed the shorter fella into the glass.

Carey Price has now played 4 "elimination" games this year. QF, SF, Gold in Sochi, and Game 6 tonight. He's given up 1 goal.
That one goal was scored by Latvia in the first period of the Olympic Quarterfinal. He hasn't allowed a goal in 11 full periods when his team was in "must win" mode.

The habs know they cant win that style of game so they dont engage.
