What do you think is so different about their styles?
Both are "balanced" players who score roughly the same amount of goals as assists.
JG looks like a much more dynamic playmaker than Eberle, not that Eberle is a terrible playmaker or anything but some of the plays JG has made are pretty impressive. Eberle drives the net more than JG does, JG is more of a finese scorer, like the goal he scored at the WC the other day.
I'm not saying JG will ever turn into a player like Kane (I guess he could, but I'm not expecting it) but that comparison make more sense to me, they are both dynamic playmakers and scorers.

Yeah, it is. He was in one end of the ice and went to the other end to score, carrying the puck en entire way. Generally if you carry the puck out of your own zone it's considered end-to-end.
I don't care about the comparisons but if you believe he hasn't had that type of goal at any level you clearly haven't been paying attention, even in the slightest.

I think Gaudreau will do better in the NHL than the AHL.
The AHL game is slow and players don't have NHL skill. Gaudreau will be making passes to players who don't expect it.
Well I hope some of the players have NHL skill because the flames have some decent prospects that I think are a big part of the rebuild that will be playing in the AHL next year
Not really sure why we're still engaging Oiler Stain. He shot his own credibility in the foot when he stated Gaudreau doesn't rush the puck end to end "at any level" when he's quite well known for that. Videos and gifs were promptly posted and he still tries to deflect because they didn't start behind his own goal line.
That makes it pretty clear that he doesn't watch Gaudreau and thus his opinion on who is style is (or isn't) similar to is invalid.

The bottom line is he's frustrated his team is the laughingstock of the league and the Oilers prospects have gone from having this kind of excitement bantered about in regards to their potential, to good offensive players that are lazy and perennial losers. Pretty clear why he's decide to play wet blanket here.
Only the ridiculously deluded would claim that my comparison of Gaudreau to an elite NHL scorer is playing wet blanket.

But hey, keep up the good work:
Except it's pretty clear what your motives are when you're hissing at someone that they "clearly want him to BE Kane" etc.
It's clear what you're doing here and why you're doing it. I've said it twice: Your team is a train wreck and the prospects you once were excited about have developed horrible habits playing in that awful losing culture. So with regard to your decision to hang out here in an attempt to forget all of that... you keep up your good work as well.
Kane carries the puck a lot more as he has elite level skating.
They're a lot more different than just skating, but I digress.
My point was that JG's style is closer to Kane's than Eberle's, not because I think JG will be as good as Kane or anything. I thought it was a pretty simple point, I'm not saying Eberle is junk and JG is the next Kane.
