Is the US getting outplayed as badly as the score suggests? At work so I can't see the game, but the ticker is showing the US outshooting them more than 2:1 (currently 36-17 in shots).
Is the Russian goalie just standing on his head while the US is ####ting the bed or is the shots count not showing the whole story?

US has been putting shots on net, but they're mostly shots from the outside that Vaselevsky (sp?) isn't having any trouble with. On top of that the Russian D has been brutally efficient at clearing the front of the net. It's a war zone around that goalie crease.
