CaptainCrunch is still my strongest suspicion. If he flips mafia, then I think completely should be given a hard look. (because it could be that CaptainCrunch was waiting to pounce on Lego to defend completely)
I don't know what to think about CBL. I think more flips are needed to help confirm/deny suspicions. I am leaning mafia on him.
Oling has been after me before on the same line of logic. Saying that I am suspicious because I jumped on first day list made by the only proven townie. The list has mostly proven to be a dud, but how could I have known if it was mafia-free even if I was in one of the mafia groups? (which cannot see half the mafia) but he saw an opportunity to target me, and pounced. That said, his other posts seem mostly townish to me, and GGG also targeted me, so he is lower on the suspect list.
Yesterday's pileon: I think the mafia saw an opportunity to pileon with the aS vote, CC, completely, and flameswin seem to arouse suspicion from that. Maybe not all three, but probably a couple.
The score is 14-6 now, and could be 11-6 tomorrow. If that happens, the ratio is more than 1:3 mafia, which means that there will be a lot of bad noise out there, even moreso than now. Look to past posts, which totally change the feel of their motives when you know that certain players that they are discussing with, and talking about, are now confirmed town or mafia. There is no need to completely rely on lists like CBL's. Mafia would be smart to jump off while the train is rolling (like CC), or avoid it altogether while we pick ourselves out for them.
I will be around for a while more to respond, but later this evening I will be hitting the road for a few hours.

I meant 1:2 ratio. Not a math guy.

I'm looking at CofR right now. He has kind of just been here, and isn't really adding much hunting mafia wise. He keeps mentioning HD and transplant but has never voted for either of them, he has only voted for hmmhmmcamo and agulati.
He just kind of stays in the shadows, popping in here and there. The times he does show up seems to be after we are going at eachother, which seems like he is trying to stay out of the spotlight.
Maybe he can give an explaination why he is kind of coasting along.

I'm pretty busy at work right now, but I'll try to find time tonight to put reasons to these suspicions.

Besides HD, I'm ready and willing support voting for any of the six names on the top 7 list.

Also to add to my previous post....Are you, or are you not using posting style as criteria for being suspicious?

Would it be good strategy to leave the hammer vote to me, as the only confirmed townie? It keeps the mafia com piling-on at the end to get the vote to hammer. I can also see others input if the current target might change.

SP, I seem to recall you summerizing you point/thoughts/evidence on Rathji, but for the life of me I can't find that post. Can you please link it, or lay them out?

I have read over the thread a bit comparing starseed with bizaro86 posts. I wanted to know who was the first to post each theory, regarding my list and the inactive list. What I saw was starseed came up with most of the theories first, and bizaro86 jumped on board. I think bizaro86 was trying to be seen as town if starseed is lynched and flipped town, or have us target starseed if bizaro86 flips mafia first.

No posts that felt like "must be town", piled on with devo22 (known scum) in trying to go after GGG (known town), voted to lynch all three townies. Before last lynch, both now known scum voted both times to lunch townies

I am also looking at voting patterns, and notice that CofR seemed to push the first 2 votes towards hammer, followed shortly by Baxter Renegade. Baxter Renegade seem to change his voting pattern after it was called to attention, now he tries to get his vote in early.

No point in an early hammer, that only benefits the mafia. As I hope we have all learned.
Let's take our time on this one. I will be very suspicious of anyone who tries to get the early lynch.
I have not posted much, but read everything. I agree that starseed is a good pick. I also have doubts about kermit, flameswin, and SP.
Flameswin posted the "pretty sure I am going to be killed tonight" line. I find that trying too hard to be town. Not much I guess, but it just irked me.

Wow nice deflection, you're probably no more Townie the Will Ferrell is an example of intellectual comedy.
This is a really nice attempt of deflection by you in saying that I'm looking at the wrong things and side tracked., I am clearly Townie look at my record thus far in terms of what I'm looking for. How in the blue blazes can you say that you're looking at the right things when you're using a random number generator to target people in day 2.
You on the other hand randomly targeted people for no real reason, you got completely busted in a lie, to target someone, those you can't dispute, and those are very mafia like quantities. You also vanish when the heat gets a little hot out there.
As sure as my avatar is named after one of the worst breakfast cereals health wise on the market, I am sure that you are scum.
I stand by my vote against you. Its the best thing to go on, random nonsensical targeting and dishonesty when you target someone.

Whatever, you're time is coming I mean even your posting, I'm ok with any of those 7 players except HalifaxDrunk. Seriously can you get anymore noncomittal and random, of course your ok with any of those 7 players and then you extend it to 9, they're probably not in your cabal.
So now do I take a deeper look at Halifax Drunk who had two of his accusers gets night killed?

Not going to deny that I did that, but could you show me the post so I could give more insight? I just scanned my post history in this thread and can't locate what you are talking about.

I've just gone through this beast of a thread this morning, and that top 7 list of people is who I am most suspicious of being Mafia. The other two are wildcards in my opinion.
Noncomittal? What does that even mean in this game? People can't change their votes or opinions? Okay then, good point?
Keep wasting time on me CC. You couldn't possibly be mafia because a mafia member wouldn't be so stubborn to spend so much time trying to lynch me. It's just inefficient.
Shall I do another random generator vote to keep your juices flowing?

It could also be that CC is Mafia (and thinks I'm Mafia too) and attempting to sneak through this game under the radar by trying to focus all his attention on me and not exposing his vote pattern to scrutiny later in the game.
Something to think about at least.
