Interesting. I lost communication with them around 2000 when I graduated from high school so this is news to me.

As for the house, maybe it is a new CNOOC residence. They are bringing on a new Chinese CEO so maybe the two are linked.

If I'm getting the location correct based on Google maps, the land title shows it being owned by El Condor Lands Inc., which a Google search brings up many links of affiliation with the Hon family through Hon Towers Ltd. and Jager Homes Inc.

Is this the correct location? http://tinyurl.com/k57vlex

Others on chatboards and social media have marveled at its size. A post on the Calgarypuck forum, “Flabbibulin” says it’s, “the biggest bloody house I have ever seen!,” while “OzyFlame” dubbed it, “overly hedonistic,” and “jaydorn” asks, “That's a house?! Drove by there last month and just thought it was a weird place for a hotel/condos. But a single family home?”

And where is the credit to united for his research? Booooo!

There's no way CFCN came up with this idea and info out of nowhere.

I feel like I remember something about the family being forced out by the board so they could make the sale. This is going off memory and I could be way off

Oh and I may have tipped Erin Lawrence off to check here and Reddit for this "breaking story". She tweeted about how hard it was to find info on this place, I replied just check Reddit Calgary and Calgarypuck we did this all weeks ago.

If this house was built century's ago, it could have been one of calgary's Historic homes.

News reports are saying 11,000 sq ft. LOL!!

That house is 11,000 sq ft on the main floor alone!!

It has to be close to 25,000+ above grade developed.

I agree with the rest of the posters that it is fugly!!
