No, I dumped her for a different chick that has no clue how to play the drums at all, but she hits them really hard and swings her arms wildly in the air at the same time... so huge upgrade.
Got my tickets already, a shame they're not doing a back-to-back with First Class.
I am really worried that this may have a lackluster performance at the box office with its terrible positioning in the Summer, but here's hoping I am wrong. But people could already be in superhero withdraw after Captain America and Spider-Man were massive hits, and then it comes out the week after Godzilla and won't be in IMAX theatres.
Then of course there are the issues with Bryan Singer that could sway some people as well, I really think it will under perform at the BO just like Wolverine and First Class did. I doubt it will prevent them from making Age of Apocalypse, but they'll probably be forced to slash the budget (maybe losing some of the cast).
Oh and before anyone questions me making the statement that First Class did indeed underperform, most box office analysts said the same thing. It should have done similar numbers as Last Stand and Wolverine: Origins.
Also purely speculation on my part, but does anyone else expect Gambit to make a cameo? I know everyone and their mother is part of it already, but the fans have been demanding his inclusion for ages, and he could play a big role in Apocalypse (possibly as a villain). Too bad Origins kinda screwed up his first appearance, but maybe they can they flat out ignore that version.

That guy who played Gambit in Origins was perfect for the role too IMO. Gambit is my second favorite comic book character. I really hope he gets into more of these X-Men movies.
I just got an invite to a private screening at 8:30am on the day of release.

Yeah but it's at Sunridge! Are those even good cinemas? I'm going to the Palo Alto Eau Claire one at 9:00 AM. Trashy theatre but then I can do it during work hours.
Okay. I want to have an X-men marathon before this comes out. I can't decide what order to watch them in. Release date or chronologically based on storyline?

chronology. Same as a Star Wars marathon.

reactions from preview screenings sound extremely positive
I hope they don't continue mashing up the "new class" with Singer's X-Men. Hopefully we see the New Class continue on. I really love the AoA storyline but I would have loved to see the First Class group have their own contained trilogy.

I'd do release date. Watch the performances and characters grow. Skip the first Wolverine movie altogether to be honest.
