Anyone know the size of this rink? Seems smaller than Sochis, mind you in Sochi they used the maximum rink size. This rink looks pretty close to NHL size though to me.

USA back on the powerplay, so likely 3 coming up here.

I thought Johnny put in the rebound for a second, it was off the Belarus player.

2nd assist for the JG, quarterbacking the US powerplay like a boss.

If we get a Canada vs USA, Johnny's going to make the Canadian defence look slow and dumb.

Another USA powerplay goal. Should be another assist for Gaudreau. Another play where if they goalie kicks out a rebound, Gaudreau is right there in position.

I like this American team, they might be young, but they got some feistiness to their game. I'd like to see Canada to move more towards that style, and bring more young players, rather than mostly veterans looking to get a free vacation after the season ends.

Bieksa plays for Canada. They don't need any help looking slow and dumb.

This feels like a second WJC... considering the make up of this US team.

Sven's injury could be anything from a cracked rib, to a cracked sternum, to a torn muscle. Ususally when "not good" is thrown out there, it's going to be a substantial injury.

I feel for the kid.

Damnit...that really sucks for Sven. Was hoping he'd have an awesome WC then start off the season strong.

It was the coach who said that, so it could just be something that will take more than a couple of weeks to recover from, which makes it "not good" for Switzerland and this tournament.

I'm no expert, but a chest injury is probably something less likely to be a reoccurring issue than a shoulder/head (though I am the proud recipient of 6 shoulder dislocations as of today).

Gaudreau now leads this tournament in points, I think. Also back to 2 PPG on the season.

Boston College - 40 GP, 80 PTS
Calgary Flames - 1 GP, 1 PTS
Team USA - 1 GP, 3 PTS

TOTAL - 42 GP, 84 PTS
