From what I've seen on CT, the peace officers usually surrond the "suspect" so events like this don't happen.

It just seem very fishy almost like its Lowes way of marketing the safety of public transit to new players.

I don't buy it. Like Captain said and the first thought that crossed my mind, why was this person just filming a chick sitting across from him/her who was just going trough her purse?

Of course that's what they do, but this may have been the first station they were able to meet up with the train.

If I have a problem passenger on my bus (I haven't had this happen fortunately) that I need removed, I can either sit and wait for peace officers to arrive, which may take awhile depending on where you are and potentially piss off the other passengers, or I can continue driving my route and have peace officers meet up with me at some point. If the passenger gets off before the peace officers meet me, I can cancel the request. My course of action all depends on how exactly the passenger is a problem.

In this case, assuming the driver was aware of the passenger issue, I believe they were right in continuing on since she wasn't a big nuisance (until she attacked the other passenger) to the other passengers and holding a train at a station for peace officers to arrive (and thus holding up other trains) would have been overkill. Obviously it is hard to predict when a passenger will "snap" on others, but with the information available at the time I believe the driver made the right decision.

Apparently the girl was tripping out beforehand, thus the initial filming here:

And then, apparently, the attack happened:

Maybe she was acting crazy or odd beforehand and they wanted to be ready in the event that something went down.

Edit: As confirmed in the previous post.

If you look at the first link, it makes more sense, but I still don't understand why anyone would think it's ok to film a stranger just because they're tripping out. Like really, have you never seen someone who was drunk/high before?

Yeah, just the other year a video of me was taken where I was drunkenly eating a hamburger shirtless in my hotel room. But that time it was positive, the sales of my latest german language greatest hits album doubled.

Not everyone has seen someone tripping balls like that before.

Aside from that, if you're in public then you can be filmed without your consent.

I suppose my experience with public transit makes it seem like no big deal.

Just because something is legal doesn't make it right

True but if you freak out over being filmed in public then you need to pull up your pink panties.

I would still date her.

I need a crazy fearless woman to accompany me into the backcountry when I go flyfishing.

/green text and that is what happens when you snort the marahuanas

When she did that thing with her jaw my first thought was meth (or bathsalts or some other hard drug). I heard one of those hard drugs messes with the feeling in your jaw.

After watching the video a second time I got to commend that gentleman on his priorities. Has some psycho attack him. Brush her off and keep eating chips. She keeps coming and he proceeds to put the lid on the pringles and place them upright on the floor before retaliating. I hope that someone grabbed them for the guy.

Would you rather stop eating chips or get punched in the face?

Although I really liked her Jim Carey faces, they were pretty close to being bang on.
