Now people are jumping on activeStick. I'm not convinced he is mafia at the moment.
activeStick did not vote to lynch either of the two townspeople who are now dead. He is either a townie, or a sleeper mafia member who wants to avoid the appearance of getting his hands dirty.
The thing is that the mafia needs to have enough of their people on board to lynch townspeople. I really think activeStick would have voted to lynch on at least the first vote, because it was on the fence. Mafia needed numbers there.
I still lean toward one of the following who voted to lynch both times:
starseed
Aeneas
devo22
Street pharmacist
Rathji
flameswin
CofR
Baxter Renegade
Hockeyguy15
I firmly believe that 77.8% of that list are mafia.

I haven't gone over much since the card clips over night, so I'll post some thoughts later

I think Transplant99 should be added to that list as he voted for hmmhmmcamo, but did not unvote first, so his vote was still registered for me.

Nothing personal, tranplant99. I have to vote for someone and your actions last round are the most suspicious in my books.
vote: transplant99

I'm curious why you are no longer suspicious of transplant, what has he said that has changed your mind? According to you 7 of the 9 people on your list are mafia, so that would mean it isn't possible for transplant to be mafia.

Out of your list, Hockeyguy still stands out to me the most because of his throwing stuff around and see what sticks, its a decent mafia strategy when there are twice as many enemies.
I'm still kind of stuck on Legoman's statement yesterday, my problem is that Agulati made a really clear mafia sounding statement and when he was killed it turned out that he was a villager.
Halifax drunk has disputed with two people and those two people ended up dead. The last one he had issues with was a mafia person, so its possible he could be in the other mafia group.

Oops. You're totally right. At first I thought I messed up my list, but apparently I just fail at reading comprehension. His name is right there in black and white. As such, I am firmly back to neutral on activeStick.
I still stand by the idea that HockeyGuy15 was a little too involved in crucifying agulati for an innocent slip of the tongue. I'm going to cast my vote that way, unless I can be convinced otherwise. But not yet.

I'm still somewhat suspicious of transplant, and I acknowledge that not all the people on my list are necessarily mafia. I think one or two could be waiting in the wings, so to speak, and trying to avoid attention.
transplant is just further back in my mind because he's not on the double voting list. I think it's good to concentrate our efforts there for the time being it all.
That said, he did jump on the agulati train. But you were the one at the controls.

As I said before I did not vote for him because of the slip of the tongue, I voted for him because his explaination after the fact did not make sense.
I suppose had I just come in and voted without asking agulati questions I wouldn't be in your crosshairs then? Similar to activeStick.

You are correct. I noticed that he was talking about night kills, which was suspicious to me. I followed up and wanted an explaination from him, when that also seemed suspicious I voted for him. If that makes me suspicious to you then that's too bad, because when you vote me out we will be down another townperson.

Also, your whole theory is nonsense. First the big excuse was "I was moving, I'm going to collect my thoughts" now it's "I don't believe in posting theories with such little evidence." Really? How long are you going to ride that train for? It's a game. You suggest the best way for everyone to play is say nothing of any significance at any time?
Either you're mafia, or you're a really poor townie. Either way, even if I have to go out right after you, I'm glad someone as lacklustre in the effort department as you are is gone because of me.
|
But that's the thing, he's not inexperienced, and was actually one of, if not the best player last game. So anything he's doing or not doing this game is going to be completely calculated. I'm willing to go with activestick or transplant based on what we know. Leaning more towards activestick.

Oooooh, crazybaconlegs who is a little suspicious himself comes out with a suspicion list that's absent of both activestick and transplant, the two (seemingly) most obvious targets by the group right now. Interesting.
Also; I'm on that list. But nobody cares about me lol.

I can understand that reasoning and at this point, there's not much I can say to defend myself. The first vote was primarily gut feeling (really, there wasn't a lot info to go with on day 1) and I was wrong. The second cardflip really surprised me because I was convinced agulati was mafia. Just bad luck to strike out twice and that's why I'm still hesitant with vote #3 today.
I really just want to add that both GGG and kermitology are not on that list for the lone reason that after hmmhmmcamo, they unvoted agulati very late and to me, that strikes me as suspicious. Mafia knew that there were more than enough votes for agulati already and the lynch would still go through if a couple mafiosos unvoted. Great defense when you think about it, isn't it? "Well I knew he was town, I didn't lynch him, I unvoted!"

Exactly. I mean, if activeStick is a townie, then I'm going to start to think he lucked into the end of the game last time. As a townie, he's played such a poor game thus far that I can't imagine someone having one really GOOD game one time and a really BAD game the next. As mafia, it appears as though he's trying to play the same game which gave him a lot of success last time, understandable but still not the best choice.
I don't want to share specifics on other player in case I'm wrong about active (in which case it would likely taint other players' views on those people) but from what I can tell there are definitely some mafia working vocally with townspeople to get others out, but I think those people whom I believe are town appear to be on a good track.
