I don't think he is. Even if he was, he was a fan of struggling Flames teams, not good ones. Pretty sure if the Flames become a dominant hockey team it will make moon absolutely miserable. He is just one of those guys who lives to argue and be miserable.

I can't imagine that Treliving would kibosh any delayed transactions in place before he took over.

Pretty sure Burke was aware that a new GM would be in place once this player came over. Otherwise, I don't think the Flames would have shown interest until Burke picked a GM. Therefore, I can't see Treliving standing in the way of Burke wanting Wolf here.... if this whole story is, indeed, true.
