Refs have been ####ty for years. as a hockey fan like you refs ruined the game (for me at least) Remember the interference player rule. You touched him before the puck you were in the box. Now we watch Reg Hockey like that was never put into place.Rule is still there, calls are not.

One of my good buddies is a born and raised habs fan and he hates Subban as much as he loves him...depends which zone they are in. I will give credit where due and say his defensive decision making and self control has been fantastic this series.

Personally, I think there should have been a penalty on the Iginla interference. Subban knocking the net off, not so much.

Kerry is a habs fan... he also had a explanation for the on ice call when Subban was holding whoever into the net and Price jumped into him to draw a call and then having the lightning score only to be waived off.

Blatant botched call when Subban knocked the net off. Not even sure how it's debatable TBH. But Boston shouldn't have put themselves in the postition where it mattered in the first place.

One thing you can not question is the Habs character. Huge push back after devastating loss. They are ugly with lead in third though.
Also, to me Boston simply looks too slow

Yea, Boston is hot garbage right now. That top line has been terrible. Rask, Krug, Bergeron and Hamilton are the only players that look like they care.

I think a lot of them are just banged up. Chara especially. When their best player is almost a liability that's got to take away a huge part of their confidence. Look how Calgary turned to hot garbage when Giordano was injured. I've never seen Chara play so badly in a Boston uniform.

I think not calling it was in line with how things are in the playoffs.
Not that I like the way the rules change in the playoffs. But it is what it is.
I don't think you even could call the playoffs the way you call a regular season game right now. Everybody wants and expects more physical play than the rules really allow.
(Personally I think the rules could use a big overhaul, but that's another discussion.)

I'm in the camp of people who actually like both Boston and Montreal...in this series I seem to be pulling for Boston though.

It's wrong to paint an entire fanbase with the same brush....
Except for Canucks fans - they're the worst. Leafs too. They are tied for worst fans in all of sports. Except for Riders fans.

That's another reason why a Boston win wouldn't be the end of the world for me. If Montreal wins I'll have to hear how Subban/Price are the best players in the world over and over..... Well, for a week anyways.

There's enough obnoxious fans of both teams in this thread, can we stick to discussing the freaking games?

"About to shoot" The puck was behind the net and PK was about to get it with no bruins within 10ft. Did you even watch the game?

If anything it wasn't the smartest play by Subban. Having a draw in your end against Bergeron is a bad idea. Subban had a chance to clear the puck if he took a better angle.
That isn't a penalty in any game as far as I can tell. We've seen much more blatant plays to push the net off before and they aren't called.
